This doesn't work very well for some reason, 2v2 players generally take everything to the extreme (mass doomdrop, a billion expansions before gateway, mass BC etc) In my experience expand builds are suicide in anything other than 1v1. You really need those early units. depends way to much on maps, races etc.
I think so too, with hots and the new map pool making expos easier to defend, as long as you're playing with a group of decent friends and have good teamwork and army positioning, you can make expo builds work.
Of course if EVERY player on your team plays super greedy.. thats a different story.

You have to synergise well. It's map dependent, obviously. On crooked maw, it's just 1 base plays. Isle of Slaughter/Old Country you can go CC/nexus first, on Old Country you can get away with 3 hatch before pool.
Early rushes are very very strong particularly when you are separated from your teammate - walloffs are a must (which sucks when one player is zerg). Stuff like double 10pool/speedling all ins etc when one player gets focused down on by the other really sucks.
Some race compositions are really favoured. P/Z is very weak to early rushes but has great late game. T/T can turtle and contain to equal effect - things like mass widow mine + mass drops are v good.
It's a very diverse and interesting playlist and I wish it got more attention ;;

double the supply before the engagement even begins...

not to hate, but a 9 minute 6 gate sounds like a god awful build

Is Cheeto an amateur? This is the downside to open tournaments.

considering he doesn't know a build for 7gate, so he can't be too high.

Good hold by HyuN. It was really tense.

Do you mean he doesn't get paid to play SC2? I'd say it is pretty safe to say that.

Cheeto gets utterly destroyed by the Hyunator

My brother is not particularly great at pressuring/taking expansions so we have all of the mega-super-huge-way-too-large-stupidly-gargantuan-beyond-belief maps vetoed. (It's getting harder to do that though) On crooked maw we take the in-base expansion and block the front. We usually die to cheeses anyway (unless the opponents are awful) so...)
