Previous game brings me back to WoL ZvZ with BL/Infestor on both sides.

It's not the SH that are too powerful. It's spore crawlers... They buffed spore crawlers long ago because every ZvZ was muta vs muta... Now they just kill everything. And considering the only way you can beat SH is with air, the Viper + Spore Crawler combo makes it unbeatable. That combo shuts down all air.
That's the issue, not the SH themselves. I actually think you have a point. Mutas would be a good way to combat this if it wasn't for the unbelievable strength of spores vs mutas as demonstrated by Byul. That being said, the change decreased the number of muta vs muta ZvZs and makes my life easier when defending against them so i'm not sure what to change

can someone resume the chat they had at the start of this game?
wanted to hit fullscreen to read and instead hit pop out

I don't know...but watching these kinds of games really makes me very unhappy with the Swarmhost. I wonder if the upgrade either being removed or giving a much less of a benefit. Yes you can play Swarmhost smarter than another player...but the design of the unit is not very appealing in my eyes.

But I actually think it's a good thing Stephano is doing this in front of so many viewers and Blizzards eyes just to show just how horribly broken the design of zerg and the concept of free units is in a RTS. wait till we get a game where the zerg has a massive advantage, and then terran or protoss just turtles.
LOL. What are you talking about? Protoss turtles all the time and terrans do from time to time as well. Neither P or T has any free units so P or T turtling will NEVER drag on for hours and hours. Such a stalemate situation can only happen with free units.
Or do you actually believe that if Z has massive advantage against P and then the P players turtles as much as he can, the game will drag on for hours?
Jeez. These zerg fanboys.

God this is frustrating As long as Blizzard is watching Swarmhost in action, maybe there will be something good that comes from it. nothing good can happen from it because then we will have turtle terran and turtle protoss vs zerg if they start to lose so the zerg gets fucked. I would think that by now it is obvious that Swarmhost is the unit that is causing problems in all three matchups. Turtling is the result of not being able to move out with ground army and the inability to start the game straight away with sky army. It just doesn't work that way. There was a game on some fucking desert map i cant remember with Idra vs some random protoss who went sky toss, never moved out, and just sat on 3 bases with skytoss. You can say "oh hes doing that just to be a dick", but zergs only counter to that really for trading is swarm hosts.
as much of a shitty design or whatever it is..we need swarm hosts.
Also Turtling can be the result of like what we just had with stephano. He got behind..went swarm hosts so he can stay in the game and win it. Protoss starting to lose > go sky toss while turtling > have a chance at winning because nerfing SH just makes it much more effective.

Slightly weaken sporecrawlers again? Find some middleground from where it was to 3 shotting mutas.

yeah, I guess he also lost like 4 hatcheries before he realized he didn't actually have to expand anymore
