I don't think maru as actually rated prior to OSL, like he was doing pretty well people were like "this kid is okay" then suddenly "oh he won the OSL I guess he's the next terran bonjwa literally life" Pre-OSL he was rated like supernova was, pretty good terran and that's like it.

The way Wolf and Tasteless are talking they make it seem like Terran is really unfavoured but I don't feel that at the moment.
I think it went Zerg-favored directly after the mine-nerf because Terrans had to figure out new openings (like this 3-reaper opening) and everyone went mech for a short period to try that but the matchup is stabilizing again and looking pretty balanced so far. Wolf seems to just apply "so few T in Code S => T up" to every matchup at the moment.
The best Terrans left Korea. Polt, Jajji, MMA, MVP, and Bomber. And MarineKing went to LoL for awhile. The remaining Terrans are the dregs, except for Maru.

well duh, but i'm pretty sure i'm the first non-korean to discover maru was #1 on ladder a few months ahead of his breakout and calling him to be a big hit soon
