The only contenders i see are SoulKey , Roro and a bunch of protoss players .

hes still forever a decent Code S Ro32 player, Ro16 with some luck
To be fair there was the OSL where he made that really good run to 6th place, he was only a map off top 4 vs Rain, beat soulkey in a good series and was again a map off making WCS finals vs first (Who is sadly now dead)

It's true. Personally I tend to reason by race when talking about top players, this way it rules out "racial issues". To me SuperNova is definitely a top Terran player, but in a broader perspective I don't see him reaching semi-finals indeed. Then again, he finished top6 at the OSL, but that was like another instance of SC2, really.

that + his PL performance ain't really that impressive when you see who he racked up those 6 wins against. half of his PL wins these season were against mediocre opponents at best (sniper) and flat out bad players (emotion and drg). hell, he even lost vs sora. he's unable to win a tvp against anyone that isn't flat out bad.

I haven't said anything wrong, maybe I exaggerated by calling DRG flat out bad, but he's way past his days when he used to be a force in sc2. He's nowhere near his wol level, and imo nowadays he's just bad with a few flashes of old briliance.
