They're just a bad unit, though I think corruption is a nice spell, with as much potential as contaminate ... lol To fight vikings so you can get air superiority against a meching terran. It's quite important. Or to fight airtoss as an alternative to vipers.
Vikings outrange corruptors pretty hard, though technically, you're right. Then again, there's seeker missile vs fungal, which makes it kind of an even fight. And since we're seeing a lot of mech lately (feels like a lot at least), I always see 1/0 or even 2/0 corruptors being demolished by 3/0 or 3/3 vikings :/
Corruptors are pretty much like Idra - not really relevant, but you need them and rage about them all the time. #shotsfired

Corruptors are horrible against everything except collosus and carriers ^^ They are quite horrible against Carriers with enough upgrades and mass.

Soulkey is a much better ace for this match than parting or rain, because Maru's TvZ is his weakest matchup. Also Soulkey is a much better player under pressure in my opinion.

SK is SKT's best player; he has been sent in every match unlike rain or parting who have been benched once each.

I'm not making a balance statement at all, I think mech is extremely easy to exploit and is frankly pretty terrible until super late game.

They used to be fine vs vikings in Wings (not just coz of infestor), but with the upgrade patch along with the godly raven, pretty bad now
