Innovation is certainly NOT the greatest RTS player of all time. In the Starcraft scene, that HAS to be Flash (or one of the other BW bonjwas). And that is entirely ignoring the solid WC3 scene, which is to discredit Grubby's achievements. Jaedong is good, and his consistently after the game switch is impressive, but looking at his body of work, he is certainly no Flash and maybe not even a Grubby.
Pretty sure no one in here argued about Inno being the greatest RTS player of all time. At least not serioulsy.

because they didn't play the master race game of brood war.
I know a few AoE2 pros who are absolutely ridiculous at slow-pace RTS like AoE and EE.
