Yes so not much else DRG could have done here besides revamp his entire gameplan to fight an immortal all-in.

That is why there is a balance issue. It was obvious that herO had godlike micro there. BUT there must be a way for Zerg to counteract that with godlike micro of their own.
Or maps need to be a lot more wide open because the days where P needed chokes to help them defend is long over.

He needed Queens and spores to target down the warp prism but immortals kill them so fast.

It's an interesting ability for sure but being able to create a ton of chokes with some sentries is pretty powerful.

Wall, forcefields, cannon overcharge, time warp? You cannot break a 2 base Protoss in the early/mid game.
The size of chokes at the natural is still designed with WoL Protoss in mind (fragile early mid game).

Here's the math then. He was about 40 roaches. Minerals aren't the problem, it's gas. Hydras cost 50 gas. You also need range and speed,a nother 300 gas. And you need say 14-15 hydras so you need about 750+300 gas. That is 1050. The 40 roaches cost about 1000 gas. So you see, after he committed to raches early, it was too late to switch because if he switches mid way, he doesn't have enough of either unit to stop. He has to go hard one way into hydra or hard into roaches to stop it.

He took out the exp then came back while herO's probes in the main were still there. If he left 1-2 roaches there, he could've cripped eco and forced him to wrap units back home.
