overall i quite enjoyed the tournament. it was probably the most hyped i've been for sc2 for a long time (probably haven't been as hyped since creator took out rain 3-2 in WCS last year). a pity maru (or jaedong i guess) couldn't win, but that's okay, they'll hang around for a long time yet. the games were good, production was pretty solid. good intros for the players (though a BW-style intro would have been cool too, since they had the time to do that). game quality was overall quite high - nothing amazingly awesome like gumiho-mma or mkp-drg but mostly well played. the LRs were pretty fun to run - i read every single post in the nearly 2k pages we got haha. there weren't that many votes in the polls, which is ergh. i enjoyed day 2 a lot more than day 1 since i didn't need to conncentrate so hard on two streams + updating thread/OP. lots of good hype leading up in the week beforehand, i think the sc2 community did quite well to feed off the positivity in the few weeks prior to blizzcon. overall, pretty fun tournament, would watch again. now to study for my barrier exams in 2 weeks' time... gg | ||

So yes there bias, i agree and you are right in your accusations to a certain degree. but i try to be fair, and i would realize that JD needs to be held to certain standards of behavior in celebration activity if he was destroying opponents and going crazy all the time. it can be intrepreted as showing up the opponent in certain minds. i will let sOs have it. He deserved it and JD didn't. sOs should be happy, no question about this victory. just the way he won it, i wish he could act like he was there before. | ||
