SC2 is a box format and each game is always close because the player ends it as soon as it is over. The game never turns into a 70-0 mess (unless its like fantasy gg timings). A better comparison would be winning the NBA title 4-1 after 4 really close games. And you better believe those players are celebrating. (And they would be celebrating the 70-0 if it meant winning the title like this game meant for sOs. well said. It's how you celebrate which is what we're discussing. jumping up and down like a little child is not approved, but it is a free world i guess. If sOs won in a game 7 or game 6 in intense matches, i would be very happy for him and expect him to go nuts. but you make good points.

I am all for cheering, and being happy for winning. like shaking hands, a small fist pump. But going beserk would not be appropriate. I respect SoS as a player and his hard work and sacrifice to win money and fame. But, I think ettiquette is a big factor as well, when you handle losing and winning First of all, its sOs, not SoS (this is making me laugh a lot though - thank you hahaha) Secondly, these guys are like late teens, early 20's... they are full of emotions and energy despite what it may look like in game.

You sourpuss jd fans are really trying to ruin an awesome tournament for everyone else because yr fav player has proven to be nothing but the biggest choker and kong in sc2 history...maybe one day he'll be on mvp's level but i doubt it.

Serious question nothing as big as this. but i can put my self in their shoes and see how to handle yourself in a very polite manner. These are the unwritten rules i guess in sports we don't talk about. But i can see why some of you would be like , why are you criticizing a guy who won a big tournament winning 100K. you guys are probably right in questioning my cynicism i guess. I just didn't like the way he handled it. when the Korean team SKT beat Royal in LoL 3-0, that was a subdued and pretty appropriate. they did not jump up and down, it was a pretty easy victory throughout. had they been going bonkers, i would have though of SKT differently. Yes they won 1 Mil, that was a big deal of course. And that makes the reactions more understandable after winning a big tournament.
