One of the best celebratory moments I've seen. i would have been more humble after mentally destroying JD that way by psyching him out. It wasnt a classy way or a hard drawn out way of winning like 5 set tennis matches or overtime games. hahahha what? He won $100,000 and the biggest SC2 tournament ever, and he isnt allowed to cheer because he mind-gamed a fan favourite? DiLiGu just said almost the exact opposite, hes faceless and has no personality. You and him should discuss this at his next barcraft. If you jump up and cheer after someone gets injured in a match and beat the team or player in a game. you should not jump up and down. There are appropriate moments to cheer like a maniac, IF SoS beat JD in a 7 game intense fight, I would have understood it. This series felt like a let-down since game one. I would not really cheer like a maniac after wiinning in 5 games to cheezing and psycing out the opponent. that's just how i feel What the fuck is your problem dude. He just won 100k dollars and the biggest tournament of the year. It wasn't like cheering for someone being injured at all. It was like cheering for winning the superbowl. It doesn't matter how you did it. You won and deserve to celebrate. if you win after scoring on a hail mary, you are going to react differently after winning 70-0. It a compeltely different feeling and emotional reaction. That is the point i am making. this series was one-sided and very disappointing from game one. it was like a football game like 50-7 or something like that. I would not cheer crazily after winning that easily. It is very different in SC2 though. A football game is a singular game that can be obviously over for a long time. SC2 is a box format and each game is always close because the player ends it as soon as it is over. The game never turns into a 70-0 mess (unless its like fantasy gg timings). A better comparison would be winning the NBA title 4-1 after 4 really close games. And you better believe those players are celebrating. (And they would be celebrating the 70-0 if it meant winning the title like this game meant for sOs. well said. It's how you celebrate which is what we're discussing. jumping up and down like a little child is not approved, but it is a free world i guess. If sOs won in a game 7 or game 6 in intense matches, i would be very happy for him and expect him to go nuts. but you make good points. what do you mean jumping up and down is not approved. This man just won the most important tournament of his life. you're just sore that JD lost and everyone has to sulk like you. go to my previous posts. winning ugly or hard fought yields different emotions than winning easily and completely demoralizing the opponent. Soccer teams beating clubs 5-0 4-1 will yield different celebrations than winning a close won. that is the point. And yes i am upset JD lost, but that is the game, someone must win someone must lose. I am not sore that sOs won. I just heard he was jumping up and down a bit crazily, i was a bit disappointed in the reaction. that's all. Using a score is a bad way to compare it to SC though. Each game is close until the end because unlike a sports game with a timer on it the game ends as soon as you get that decisive lead. Which means that when he wins its more like winning 5-4 than 5-0.

Not true, I've killed immortals with corrupters before. Go into a 2v2 and get a partner to go phoenix and lift them.

Which means that when he wins its more like winning 5-4 than 5-0. this is a good discussion to view SC2 in what manner or fashion series should be judge i guess. If you kill an opponent 4-0 or are up 3-0, is it the same feeling as to being up 3-0 in soccer or 21-0 in football, or 3-0 in hockey. How I feel, being up 3-0 or 3-1 and beating an opponent 4-1, i would feel different than being in a 6 or seven game tough series.
perhaps the comparisons aren't apple to apples as you guys say. don't know, i am not a pro SC2 player, so it would be hard i guess to determine the leverage or dominance you have reached over your opponent after being up 3-1 and killin gyour opponent 4-1. It seems like 4-1 is a one sided victory. But I don't know the competive psychology of being in an intense 7 game series in a final. So you guys are probably right overall. I should not get too upset about sOs celebrating heartily after winning 4-1. I will observe future reactions of players that dominate their opponent from now on. I really never noticed behavior like this until sOs won. So perhaps, i am just a JD fanboy that got upset. I see things a little bit more clearly now.
