Everyone's excited that we might have a foreigner at the biggest SC2 event, so why wouldn't we talk about it? It's the most interesting story during this tournament and if he makes it, Blizzcon will be so much more fun to watch for most players and most likely have 20k more viewers than if he doesn't.
There is probably as many people who dislike Naniwa as those who like him. So you are not speaking on behalf on everyone. But regardless of that, this is a LR thread for a tournament Naniwa isn't even in, so I agree with anyone who finds constant Naniwa chance speculation irritating.
Naniwa is guaranteed to be out. Revival will get 25 points in his challenger league and take Nani spot due to tie breaker.
Revival's 3175 and Nani's 3200 though, and that's counting the 25 Challenger League points.

No in this case (for whatever reason) they will play a bo5 at Blizzcon, not have the tiebreaker based on points in the WCS system.

Apparently the probabilities thread agrees with you, since Naniwa's chances of going to BlizzCon just jumped to ~61%, with the other 39% representing Trap or Byul wins of this tournament.

They'll play a Bo5 and that person will become the 16th person?
And this assumes that Trap or ByuL don't win right?
0:00 Oz is at the top Soulkey (SK) is at the bottom
1:00 nothing interesting yet pylon in the nat for Oz

No. They play an offline bo5 at blizzcon for the tiebreaker. The only time they go based on kinds of WCS points is when they both already have a spot secured.

Every time Naniwa wins, there are tons of people expressing "how they don't like him blah blah blah", instead of talking about the actual games. We have to stand it. Now, you can stand the fact that, chances are, we will have a one SINGLE foreigner in the WCS Global Final. There are many people who care about that.
This is the problem with the sc2 community. They would rather cheer for any foreigner no matter how bm, just because they are white and non korean. I don't have a prob with the community cheering for foreigners in general, but they have no standards and just cheer for any white person, which is one of the reasons I dislike the community.

No, simply he is luckier than jjakji, Seed and Sniper are combined.

What do you mean "for whatever reason". The tiebreaker based on points in WCS system only applies if you have to determine order of seeding for two players already going to Blizzcon.

Actually the most interesting story in this tournament is the players in it trying to win it.
Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion man.
It's incredibly stupid that we have an SC2 tournament happening and people only care about the next one.
Why is that stupid? This is the definition of a year long storyline that Blizzard was trying to build. It adds considerable hype(obviously) and this is how it was supposed to work. I don't see how that's "stupid".
