It's the most interesting story during this tournament and if he makes it, Blizzcon will be so much more fun to watch for most players and most likely have 20k more viewers than if he doesn't. Actually the most interesting story in this tournament is the players in it trying to win it. Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion man. It's incredibly stupid that we have an SC2 tournament happening and people only care about the next one. Why is that stupid? This is the definition of a year long storyline that Blizzard was trying to build. It adds considerable hype(obviously) and this is how it was supposed to work. I don't see how that's "stupid". Exactly. I'm enjoying the fuck out of this longer arch drama. Make the whole thing so much more intense than a regular tournament.

There is probably as many people who dislike Naniwa as those who like him. So you are not speaking on behalf on everyone. But regardless of that, this is a LR thread for a tournament Naniwa isn't even in, so I agree with anyone who finds constant Naniwa chance speculation irritating. Every time Naniwa wins, there are tons of people expressing "how they don't like him blah blah blah", instead of talking about the actual games. We have to stand it. Now, you can stand the fact that, chances are, we will have a one SINGLE foreigner in the WCS Global Final. There are many people who care about that. This is the problem with the sc2 community. They would rather cheer for any foreigner no matter how bm, just because they are white and non korean. I don't have a prob with the community cheering for foreigners in general, but they have no standards and just cheer for any white person, which is one of the reasons I dislike the community. I don't think I'd care if a different foreigner was in his position to be honest. Nani's done enough to deserve a little bit of luck going his way, more than can be said for other foreigners.

Skill too, he made his opponents in IEM choke so much <3

Revival will get 25 points in his challenger league and take Nani spot due to tie breaker. No in this case (for whatever reason) they will play a bo5 at Blizzcon, not have the tiebreaker based on points in the WCS system. They'll play a Bo5 and that person will become the 16th person? And this assumes that Trap or ByuL don't win right? Yes if Byul or Trap wins the final, Naniwa is out. If they don't and Revival ties him, they will play a bo5 for the 16th spot. source on the tie breaker rule? http://wcs.battle.net/sc2/en/articles/wcs-global-finals-format-seeding-and-tiebreakers

If you love the game you shouldn't care if there are koreans or foreigners in it. You should be in it for the games.Quality games. Everybody has his favorite player and if you said Naniwa is your favorite and that is the reason you want him at Blizzcon it would be ok. But from your statement it seems that you simply want non korean, basically white people in it, for sole reason of them being non korean. That is kind of racist.
