Well Mana vs. Firecake last week was long enough and boring enough that it might as well have been paused. And the casters were taking bets on how long the game would go and composing poems and shit on air. Good times.

It's the most interesting story during this tournament and if he makes it, Blizzcon will be so much more fun to watch for most players and most likely have 20k more viewers than if he doesn't. There is probably as many people who dislike Naniwa as those who like him. So you are not speaking on behalf on everyone. But regardless of that, this is a LR thread for a tournament Naniwa isn't even in, so I agree with anyone who finds constant Naniwa chance speculation irritating. Every time Naniwa wins, there are tons of people expressing "how they don't like him blah blah blah", instead of talking about the actual games. We have to stand it. Now, you can stand the fact that, chances are, we will have a one SINGLE foreigner in the WCS Global Final. There are many people who care about that. If you love the game you shouldn't care if there are koreans or foreigners in it. You should be in it for the games.Quality games. Everybody has his favorite player and if you said Naniwa is your favorite and that is the reason you want him at Blizzcon it would be ok. But from your statement it seems that you simply want non korean, basically white people in it, for sole reason of them being non korean. That is kind of racist. or maybe people want non koreans since it gets boring when a korean wins all the time. Yes they give high quality games and whatever, but we always see "last foreigner is out" or even "last korean is out" which there is nothing wrong with either way. There is nothing wrong with having national pride.

People need to stop throwing that word around every time someone wants a foreigners to do well.

They would rather cheer for any foreigner no matter how bm, just because they are white and non korean. I don't have a prob with the community cheering for foreigners in general, but they have no standards and just cheer for any white person, which is one of the reasons I dislike the community.
LOL

Well you were the one who said people should talk about actual games but you talk about a player who isn't even in this tournament and about popularity of koreans / non koreans and our chances of having SINGLE non korean at the next big tournament.
Maybe you should follow your own advice and concentrate on the games and we can debate about Naniwa at Blizzcon (if he makes it there)
