He did use PDD, but it's not like PDD is very good against feedback and just having the raven is risky vs feedback. He's trading gas, a resource Terran has too much of in 3base, for MULEs (minerals), a resource Terran can't have enough of in TvP. Also terrans often banks a lot of gas late mid-late game, and he wants to get that second starport up anyway for more viking production. Makes the raven not that expensive. | ||

Overall a raven is a nice thing to have, probably won't change the game much though. | ||

At that time in the game, terran does not have to much gas, infact terran is around that time heavily gas starved. It's right after that, that you start floating the gas. That's why I'm not sure about the raven, adding 200 gas cost is painful on upgrades, vikings/medivacs, ghosts and infrastructure | ||

He's a bit more ease on the gas at that point. | ||
