With Intel Extreme Masters Singapore coming up at the end of November, it's time for the participants to be determined. Eight players will have the Chance to qualify online again!
Two of the best players from Europe and Africa will qualify for Singapore. You must advance through 2 stages to do so. See how below.
Restrictions
- You must be located in Europe or Africa at the time of either Stage 1 or Stage 2 to be eligible to compete in the qualifiers.
- You must be at least 16 years of age by November 28th 2013 ( the date of the LAN event)
- Hotel and flight cost are paid for in full by ESL.
- Be well aware that Singapore might require an up to date visa to enter the country.

Stage 2: Sunday, Oct 20 2:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00)

A map veto (removal and pick) system is used. The high seeded player (koreans can be found at round 1 on the grid starts. Players take it in removing maps until only one remains in a best of 1 or until only 3 maps remain in a best of 3. Then each player picks a map. Maps are played in order they are picked. The remaining map is played last.

Btw I submitted the two events to the calendar, but I wonder why you guys from IEM/ ESL don't do it yourself? I mean it's cheap advertisment and everybody check TL for Starcraft 2 streams.

Well to be fair last years EU quali for Singapore has only had 43 checkins (Stage1)
Does not seem to be a very popular or established destination maybe? Little do they do know what Grubby knows.

Anyways, I hope a couple of Germans can make it through, even though they have to fight all they way from Stage 1.

Ret has no more minerals to make any lings and low muta count, he was only on ~one mining base while Happy is also on one but with mules and pretty consistent bio mine production
(basically not enough resources to break that mine count because he just don't have the ling baneling count to do so)

ret thought it was a good idea to attack into 3-3 marines with muta's a couple times and he kept running banelings into mines and on top of that the reluctance to go up to hive even though he has 3k gas...
