That's what i am seeing. The winrates right now are in favor of zerg, so why would terran get a nerf?

I think most people are completely ignoring how different the two engages.

Terran poke with bio to kill off some lings and banelings, just like how zerg sent off some lings to bait widow mine shots.

BUT for the actual engagement, Terran pulls away from the banelings and Zerg moves the banelings into the bio.
Widow mines hits become unavoidable because you are engaging with your whole army. i.e. you can't micro against a widow mine that has targetted a unit.
Terran on the other hand can improvise with micro, lifting up marines, splitting the bio and stutterstepping etc.

Zerg and terran are entirely different in terms of unit control. For one thing, zerg units are mostly melee or very short range, meaning it's a hell of a lot harder to effectively work with the units.

Another thing is it's BORING to see spam of MMWM. Who cares about balance when it's just boring as hell.

Splitting units is splitting, it's not different if they are melee or ranged.

And that's a very subjective thing to say, maybe its not MMWM that's boring, maybe it's ling/bane/muta that's boring.

i think mma is better than vortix to be honest .. but that doesnt mean vortix suck .. i see no european zerg doing that good against crazy constant pressure with limited bases who couldnt expand ..

the disgusting part that people complains is that .. mma was basically building nothing other than widow mines and marines .. and mass amount of them .. 5 mines at a time is just too much ..

Vortix is sick good, no denial. But i would not place him as even opponent against MMA in his current form. Also, well, if zerg is good at picking off mines and it is easy to forget to build one, why not 3 factory mine :D?

But watching muta/ling/bling is exciting?

I for one love watching good biomine vs good mutaling, it's hugely micro intensive and has non-stop engagements. Beats the hell out of watching every game decided in one engagement.

Don't forget that widow mines also splash onto our bio, so 1 zergling baiting a widow mine shot can do immense damage to multiple bio units

This whine is hilarious. I play zerg. Watching top tier zergs shows that if you can micro against widow mines, you can win. If you don't micro at all, you'll lose. See DRG vs Innovation.

Yerp. It IS unforgiving to take so much damage from widow mines, but it also is avoidable.

but it is so much more micro intensive to micro against WM than to do damage with them
in the end, zergs are more limited than terran because terrans needs less APM to do the same actions

It's also much more micro intensive to micro against banelings than it is to do damage with them, at least in TvZ.

let me rephrase
it's easier to do damage with WM than with banelings (you have to micro banelings)
it's easier to micro against banelings (even microed) than against WM (who doesn't get microed)

I completely agree with this, I don't know why people compare micro against banelings and WM

That's just because you can see the banelings (ZvZ). If WMs were not burrowed you'd probably find it VERY easy to micro against them.

The other big thing people are overlooking is the offensive capability of banelings vs WM. WM have to be positioned before (occasionally during) a fight. Banelings can attack.

With drilling claws they don't really need to be positioned before a fight at all, WM have better offensive and defensive abilities than widow mines. It would be interesting to see a zerg set up a mine field like a terran but one good scan and all of that work goes away (compared to the WM which can hit the overseer while its burrowed, which makes killing WM slightly more difficult)

For everybody who doesn't know: Ryu Won, who is now a coach at Woongjin, was a coach of SlayerS before and worked closely with MMA and together they planned a lot, including the very smart series MMA played against Mvp at Blizzcon 2011. When Ryu Won left SlayerS for WJS, the downfall of MMA began and many were wondering how much it had to do with Ryu Won leaving.
