I like startale but AxA for me! Hope Inno does well and continues his unbeaten streak in GSTL shame MMA is in europe right now he couldve been a huge help. The only only player capable of stopping Inno on St is Bomber wirh his TvT but how Bombers been in GSTL... So go acer! And axiom put up a fight Startale
I feel that if as P you know you are giving up map control to T, you really should have 2 stalkers on the map ready to snipe the scv carrying the lemon. At least if you do wp harrass that may drag army away from escorting the scv.

Wtf, I just realised AxA now has a grand total of zero zergs on their active rooster. That could really hurt them in team leagues, will make them way too predictable.

October is nigh. And having Innovation removes the need for Zergs unitl then, especially in All-kill format

Isn't hurting them so far.
Recruiting Innovation might have helped that somewhat.
I wonder what the IM, MVP and Prime players are even doing. Feels like we'll never see them again since a lot of them are playing like 2 official matches a month in WCS and they aren't in team league.

IM pls ;_;
It was such a strange decision for IM. Disappearing after being left without a title sponsor seems like a risky choice.
Everything Panic did was on a knife's edge there. The first Oracle only killing two SCV:s is really bad because it gives Terran the heads up to defend both mineral lines with marines and turrets. Doing so much damage as he did is so hard.
Attacking with the stalkers could have been absolute disaster. The time warp saved him, it was absolutely clutch. Otherwise the Terran army would have stimmed down and killed his entire ground army, and then you're left with two Oracles.
Doing the Storm change instead of Coloss is an ultimate mindgame, Phoenix and Colossus go great together so obviously Terran has to make lots and lots of Vikings.
Delayed upgrades is the hardest thing about this style, going into so much tech you're left with a long timing window. Even his colossi were only out at about 11-12 minutes.

I mean they must be joining kespa and proleague...right...right? Nothing else makes sense, they just won GSTL(and 50 million Won) and would have been the favorites to win again(although new AA would have put up a much better fight than old AA where they got 5-0'd before).

They were probably just really worried about losing LG and Kespa was going to help them with that. A sponsorship by one of the largest korean electronic companies doesn't compare to winning 50 million won i guess.

Panic is playing impressively. I thought the amount of harass while still keeping ontop of upgrades/macro/probe production was pretty impressive. The kind of thing you really only see from Rain these days.

First is quite similar too when he's doing his thing
Anyone else think the mothership core vision range is kind of insane for a flying unit? It has more vision range than a siege tank attack range I think.
Why wouldn't inno turn around once he saw all those cannons and templar? Yeah you lose a bunch of mining time, but you're up a base and your opponent sunk like 1200 mins on cannons.

It is insane. Period. 14 vision range is a lot regardless of anything in the game. But I guess it is necessary as MSC moves so slow it needs vision to anticipate threat and run away.

TBH I think It's a mistake by blizzard, the old mothership probably had 14 vision because it was a huge unit physicaly. They probably accidentally looked over vision range on the mothership core when designing the unit, just copying it from the Mothership instead.

Making photon cannons and hitting "perfect storms" (lol, "perfect" isn't impressive when the Terran is engaging INTO you up a choke), all after your observer spotted the scv train coming from the very start is barely "hard".
The lack of third Nexus had been decided upon much earlier, when probe production halted.

Well, it wasn't like it was a close hold. He probably holds with like 1-2 cannons judging from the storms he landed.
The thing is this strat is still hard to stop because, if Innovation went for it before storm and before taking his third, it would have been a completely different story.
Also the SCV pull he did was stopped because Panic really committed to his defense. If Innovation had suddenly cancelled it when he realized storm was finished and saw the canons in Panic's nat, he would have been so far ahead he would have crushed Panic when attempting to take his third.
The SCV pull is such a threat that not doing it / cancelling it can also put you in a very good position. This is where Innovation made a huge mistake by still trying to go for it. I guess it was some overconfidence due to his insane record in TvP.

I thought it was a sick hold from Squirtle into Squirtle not doing any form of counterattack when he was miles ahead and dying. I could be wrong though. The game was like a year ago.

Yeah, pretty sure It's unintentional. No air unit should have that much vision, compare it to an observer, It's ridiculous.
I guess its a oversight, albeit a pretty big one. Mothership vision is 14 aswell (which is understandable though),
That supports my theory that they accidentally left the old vision in and it was so big before because the Mothership is a gigantic unit.
I didn't even realise it was so huge. 14 is massive. O-o They should probably look into that.
It actually has some serious balance implications too, you can use it to get vision for blink all ins and you never have to put it in danger because it can see from so far away. You can't do things like put a missile turret at the edge of your base like you could for an obs.

should probably be like 8-10 imo, i had no idea the vision range was so huge lol never really thought about it before.
I can't imagine it is actually an oversight. I believe it is because they want to encourage early scouting/harass with mothership core, but that becomes so much more risky if you don't have a large vision range. Right now a mothership core can stay almost at the edge of a T's base, and scout. If you changed that range to 8-10 you would risk being taken out by marines incredibly easily. Right now you can still be taken out if you overextend or there are a lot of marines, but if you are cautious you can usually escape.

that thing had range 14 from the beginning and you just noticed it ? Works as planned though as they needed it to be able to peak inside of bases and outside for the scouting and not dieing, since it needs the energy. I always would have preferred a range of 6, since then it would need spotters and the High Ground advantage wouldn't be lost by default against Toss. But it is damn useful scouting ahead of your army. So doubt they will let go of it. In Blizzards current trend they probably would make it move faster only lol.

Yeah, pretty sure It's unintentional. No air unit should have that much vision, compare it to an observer, It's ridiculous.
I guess its a oversight, albeit a pretty big one. Mothership vision is 14 aswell (which is understandable though),
That supports my theory that they accidentally left the old vision in and it was so big before because the Mothership is a gigantic unit.
should probably be like 8-10 imo, i had no idea the vision range was so huge lol never really thought about it before.
Yeah but who knows with Blizzard. They've taken ages to fix obvious stuff before. The original intention for the MSC was to bolster Protoss defence; who knows whether they considered the implication to blink all-ins.

that thing had range 14 from the beginning and you just noticed it ? Works as planned though as they needed it to be able to peak inside of bases and outside for the scouting and not dieing, since it needs the energy. I always would have preferred a range of 6, since then it would need spotters and the High Ground advantage wouldn't be lost by default against Toss. But it is damn useful scouting ahead of your army. So doubt they will let go of it. In Blizzards current trend they probably would make it move faster only lol.

I didn't even realise it was so huge. 14 is massive. O-o They should probably look into that.
The MSC is just yucky in general. They should look into that.
The msc is awesome, it singlehandedly saved PvP as a mu and stops us from dying to speedvacs.
Its spells are awesome. Having a single, weak, slow-moving hero unit to be babysat around is yucky.
I wouldn't mind if they went back to the original concept of it being a nexus addon that can teleport between them, if only to save me the frustration of watching pros feed their MSCs and never rebuild them.

I have absolutely no problem with MSC, except for Time Warp. It's an offensive anti-micro ability on top of one P already had, FF, and is disproportionately strong against compositions which have their DPS spread out among lots of units.
I don't think it's gamebreaking, but it's just really annoying to play against. And visually, they look like giant green tits half the time.

Yeah, good from Bomber to prepare for DTs, but it hardly required star sense to read what was going on, or brilliant play to prepare the engi bay for safety.

It's only supposed to be used defensively? That's why there is a spell called Recall?
Recall is a defensive spell. It allows you to have your army out on the map and not die to counters, just like nexus cannon. It used to be an ability cast from the nexus-bound MSC in beta.

just facing better players now, and he still owns most of them. Actually he was on a decline before joining and actually came back quiet well after it. Which I didn't expect at all lol.

It was kind of expected. There simply isn't a way to simulate KeSPA practice environment without being on a KeSPA team.

you are wrong that's his first loss in the gstl, he all killed some team in the acer teamstory cup, and he went through the iem qualifier against the sickest koreans, only barely losing to curious in the sickest game in a long time.

Although Innovation said hes happy not to be in a kespa environment anymore, because he doesnt have to do all the fun outdoor stuff Kespa teams do.

You are wrong. His record since joining Acer is still great.
