Also, I think a lot of it is similar to WoL ZvT except that zerg micro has to be more crisp: mutas need to dodge mines when harassing, and instead of just needing good positioning with Brood Lords, with ultras you need good micro to hit your fungals or flank with your zerglings so the ultras can do their damage.


This is the problem, with hatch snipes etc, larvae becomes the prevailing problem, and indeed the prevailing resource throughout the game. When no larvae, or limited larvae is available, minerals and gas WILL stockpile and there is nothing you can do about it vs a good T or P who snipes your hatches.

Also, biomine is very very efficient, and in the hands of someone like Polt or Innovation, borderline unstoppable. I love Polt, but this is a bit hard to watch him tearing JD into shreds. Not easy to assess for Blizz for the future that's for sure.

Zerg needs an efficient unit that doesn't need to be massed to be effective in Lotv. Lurker was such a unit in BW.

No, don't blame mules and scans, blame the real issue. Bio. Bio being as good as it is kills all hope of ever having diverse Terran matchups.

Scan early in the game is a gamble because you can only use one and it may be terrible if it happens that you scout anything.
