Its actually not completely true. Its correct that rain is macro based player, but in every game so far he did show aggression, be it warpprism harass, stormdrops, dt drops or unit pokes in front. He simply playes less allin and less builds that could result in coinflips. I find his style nice to watch and especially good if you want to learn something about PvT and TvP (I'm Terran)... so yeah, can't agree.

Bomber kind of threw that game. While supplies were pretty even after Bomber sniped two nexuses, Bomber had 3 CCs with mules. Maybe he sensed victory and wanted to finish it quickly but definitely a mistake leaving that CC hanging mid-air for such a long time. That game was definitely his and he seemed to screw it up. GG to Rain for staying in the game after losing 2/3 of his Nexuses.

Can this whine stop? It is a great series to watch so far with very back and forth play. Can we just cut the balance whine and enjoy the series?

Maybe semis being somewhat crummy means we'll get a good finals

please. Did you really believe he will beat Rain? Bomber is - as much as I am a Terran fan - a very tricky pony with timings and play that can throw of players. Rain is as solid as it gets, and doesn't really get thrown off easily. While his weakness is being so chargelot heavy against mass medivac / bio style , scv pulls against him are not very worthy of anything besides in very low-economy games. I feel a super greedy game would work out best for Bomber because his control is good so he can hit a timing which has storm, but not yet colossus so he can rule supreme with mass medivac +2/1 and lots of bio. You do know who you are talking to, right? I will always believe in Bomber. I have believed every game. I will always do it. At least not a fair weather fan t_T But believing and being reasonable are still two different things I really think his macro is enough, but I feel like he has prepared in a way that makes it more surprising to play versus him for Rain. He is probably afraid of Rain's macro, but the way he knows how to play, the way he handles the aggression he deals (for the most part) and his ability of macro is what I believe in. I believe those facets of his gameplay can beat Rain, but he has to believe that himself.

It was about as good as you can expect on Star Station without a lot of blink stalkers...

We're not being extreme here at all... No one is as boring as Thorzain2013. Killer put out a hell of a fight tho.

Look I agree that Rain played well but in what universe did he have good drop defense?

Same thing when I watch Life play (but then again that's worked out a fair number of times) Isn't that the point of being a fan? Believing in your team/player even when everything is against you.

Rain playing extremely well doesn't invalidate Bomber's Law. Bomber's Law only requires people to be disappointed after expectations are made high, and that's exactly what happened with Supernova giving Rain such a hard time and Bomber 3-0ing First.

Tbh the crying in this thread doesen't even seem that bad compared to what the Maru vs Innovation series had after the first 3 games

come on guys if rain can win 3 straight games, bomber can too right? right?

I get what you're saying, but because everyone doesn't play like Rain it's pretty entertaining. You're not going to see games like Rain v hyvaa with any other Protoss player, they're quite memorable.

rain usually has really good drop defence but he was quite terrible last game, to be fair its rly hard to deal with 4-5+ medi drops
