Hellbat drops are not easy to defend, but Protoss can usually defend supply efficient and even multiple locations at once. I rarely see a 200/200 Protoss at the time they need to defend, so warpin usually is available as well as cannons and in early stages (i.e whirlwind and belshire as example of the maps used) photon overcharge isn't very far away. That makes the defence very supply-efficient if not completely irrelevant s upply wise. Terran cannot defend a good Protoss warpprism without supply. A turret won't stop it (at any location) so y ou need a viking or a mine in addition. Also as mentioned, the runbies can be stopped by units, a bunker, or being in position which you actually don't want to be. You dont want to be guarding your shit against Protoss, you want to be out on the map, pushing and being in his face all the time. I am not argueing to the point that both players are equal in skill (First vs FantaSy) as I think FantaSy played poorly and not to the style of his opponent. A few hellbats in his very marauder heavy composition would already helped a ton, I'm simply defending a statement of TheDwF that is attacked and labelled as whine, when its absolutely true. In no way I did comment on that game, as I personally thought First played excellent and superior and would have won even if he hadn't been able to do massive damage with runbys. I guess some people feel that balance whine is implied if someone speaks truths that are convenient to his cause and fails to mention truths that aren't. | ||
