Please explain. He had two dozen zealots fighting locusts! its not like it was 3 base vs 1. Its not that hard to defend for a long time if you have 3 bases since there is a supply cap. What? The point is that ToD couldn't break Stephano with the lack of sufficient splash damage, and had to keep inefficiently trading until he finally won. It was frankly brutal to watch. But isnt that the whole point? To keep him defending until he is out of resources? Tod doesnt have to worry about efficiency as long as he denys bases As Plexa's saying, you can starve him much more efficiently. Colossus are of pretty much the same mobility, similar cost, and are more efficient. Why not go for them? He didn't even throw down the tech, much less actually build them.

pdd's against tempests is cheating :p

Stephano banking so many minerals, should be on a 4th base and be transitioning.

And ToD's army was NOT unbeatable. Stephano's army was better in fact. That's the one thing I don't understand. The fight Stephano took in the end was horrible which is why ToD's win seemed easy in the end. But honestly ToD should have added mass voidrays or tempests that Stephano couldn't take out no matter how many SHs he has. But ToD's army actually wasn't safe. It doesn't beat mass SH/infestor/Viper, especially because ToD has no money
Tod would've just basetraded if Stephano went all in and sent his swarmhosts cross map, he never needed an army that could beat Stephano's. But I will stop now with this topic and enjoy the rest of the series^^.

Watching point defence drones shooting down tempest fire is funny for some reason.

Then I looked at the standing and see that ToD needed 1 games to advance while Stephano already has advanced.
Stephano's so nice. Hah same for me. Granted HOTS is a brand new world, but seeing a ToD in a vsZ group made me pretty worried given his history. Now I can relax and enjoy this swing match =P.

The trick is to shoot at the same spot twice

Please explain. He had two dozen zealots fighting locusts! Because he starved him out, he neveer intended to "bang down the door" of Stephano, just deny the 5th forever. It takes time but it was cool and refreshing and nice to see, imo the cast really ruined it and if they had given more credit to Tod's style it would've been much more exciting. or in Babyknights words: Jon Andersen @NaViBabyKnight 16m
incontrol stop please... tod is obviously just starving stephano, not letting him getting a fifth... -_- please just stahp

gg tod. sick. wish people could understand instead of screaming "collosus!" void rays!" god dammit It's like people who are praising tod's strategy to starve out stephano refuse to believe you can do the exact same thing with either a) tempests b) colossus and have much better results This is the point, he had the time and the space to tech into units that would've done a much better job of playing the contain game, but instead he stuck with a unit composition that was quite bad against Stephano's army for no real reason. The overall strategy of starving him out was not a bad one, but the choice to stick with that unit composition forever and ever was.
