Yeah, that's a fair point about maps. And I know what people mean about BK playing badly, but I think that (even as a non-Protoss player myself) swarm hosts have this uncanny ability to make you fret and panic and fail to transition to something else when the window to do so actually exists - and as a result you get trapped in a composition which is destined to lose. In general I really look forward to the time (and I think we're well on the way there already) when Heart of the Swarm really settles down and players don't automatically use the new units to excess as much. A lot of people have been predicting that people will start using widow mines and siege tanks together more, and I hope that's true - also it's really cool at the moment to see older strategies come back in, such as cloaked banshees. I think that's part of the "settling" process as well. | ||
