Truely amazing show -and production today from ESL. Shows that Blizzard was right in giving the WCS to ESL.

Babyknight played so badly... he just kept making colossi and stalkers when clearly they weren't working against Stephano's SH/corruptor style. He needed to be much more active with warpprism harass, and should have transitioned to skytoss.

That quote is always a funny one from that legend.

The korean zergs also are adopting this ZvP late game style? If yes, Blizzard have to do something to end it. I can't imagine nothing more boring and cheap.

lol, I think Snute has a good chance (I honestly believe Revival is lucky to be where he is)

The locust range isn't the issue IMO, it's their lifetime and speed. For every second the locust lives, it can advance 2.625 on creep. 25 seconds of lifetime means a locust can travel 65.625 on creep before dying. So you can burrow the swarm host way, way back and still have the locusts hit a target. Doing something like reducing or removing the Enduring Locusts upgrade would be a way more effective nerf; 10 seconds of life for the locust is equivalent to 26.25 of range lost for the swarm host on creep, as well as give the swarm host assault a cooldown hole.

Why would you ever build a single swarm host if this nerf took place?

People are just crying about Swarm Hosts cause most protoss players facing it on streamed matches play like shit.

Pretty much. And daybreak and akilon waste are good map for this.

Honestly, guys, your predictions were pretty reasonable based on what players have shown up to that point in WCS. However, one big factor in the Ro8 became the experience. We got players with more experience on big stages, for important results, to be able to advance.

This may be a bit off-topic but does anyone know whether the WCS Season 1 finals will require a ticket through GOM to be able to watch the vods? I'm assuming that since the finals are being held in Korea that GOM will handle production, but the tournament is two weeks away and I don't see anything on their ticket page.

I really doubt Blizzard would allow them to charge you for the vods, It's a weekend tournament not a 1 month thing like WCS KR was last year.

This is what I was thinking/hoping as well—I was about to get the discounted season 2+3 ticket though and the thought popped in my head, so I figured I'd see if anyone in here might know. Hopefully you're right, though I expect that you will be!

don't see stephano beating a korean Terran.

ForGG has abysmal TvZ.

lol.. Abysmal huh?

Yes. Didn't you see his series against TLO in the RO16?

Nope. But abysmal is a strong word coming from a random guy on TL. Even if he did play horrible or bad in one series. I think you need to be at least fairly competent in the match up to reach high GM status. Sure his TvZ might be weak and his weakest match up. Maybe if you compare the guy up against innovation you can say his TvZ is "abysmal".

I am not talking about nerfing them, I am talking about making their a move mass less useful which would add a bit more need to control them.

Personally I don't like that Blizzard changed the Locust into a tiny roach, so swarmhosts become supply efficient roaches. Preferred them when Locust just were tanks, so they wouldn't work alone.

I don't necessarily advocate that nerf, I'm just saying that the locust's range IMO is a pretty minor concern compared to their lifetime. Certainly the locusts themselves would be easier to deal with if their range was smaller, but their lifetime is what determines the swarm host's range.
