Symbol, on the other hand, makes it to the GSL finals, and no one cares.
INoVation vs RorO going to be hair-thin close, but INoVation is solid in almost every front and has hardly any weaknesses in TvZ. Symbol is just too overwhelming for Bomber I feel, and his consistency in GSL out shadows that of Bomber.

Roro's good, but he won GSL in a totally different game though. WoL at its end had some pretty questionable balance, even with the infestor nerfs at the end (too late by that time, everyone was beginning to focus on HotS by then). Roro is also pretty inconsistent.

As the preview notes though, both Roro and Symbol were two of the last players in competitive WoL. And yet they've returned to the Ro8.
Balance or not, this is the first time I can think of where both finalists made it all the way back to the quarters. If you think Roro and Symbol were only good because WoL zerg, I laugh.
I don't think much has changed since symbol 2-0'd bomber, other than that Symbol can say he also beat Gumiho to bolster his already monstrous vT record
the last time symbol lost to a Terran who wasn't Innovation in a series (not one-off match) was in December in WoL

whattttt
get out, bomber has the cutest personality.
Weird, bomber was hyped up to be the greatest terran at one point, and still shows flashes of PURE brilliance in games sadly only to completely show bronze class errors the next

1 with a nydus. Though he doesn't really need to all-in. He's still one of the strongest Zergs I've ever seen in the lategame
So are Life and Leenock. But any series where zerg only play the NR30 game is fairly dull to me, which is why I'm not quite a fan of Symbol yet. It's hard to shake the image of him as the super lategame 30 spine, 20 infestor, 15 BL wall from WoL.
If he does more all-ins today, I'll be warming up to him more again.

Symbol is like the best nydus all iner and user overrall out there. You can't blame ppl for abusing a stupid balance.
