This is just wrong. RorO actually handled that very badly. Hellbat drops are devastating, but RorO just did not have the proper answer. You need spores/spines and, more importantly, a great reaction time.
The reason why RorO got rolled by mech is simply because he had to redrone and could not focus on building the correct army composition.

So far Coke is > Pepsi, but let's see if I foretold the future and we get a Flash vs Jangbi match like the banner.

Flash drank 2 bottles up, it's his time now !!!!

i don't recall ever complaining about one unit being too strong. i have always felt that blizzard does a pretty good job balancing races units, etc. but i am starting to wonder if hellbat drops against zerg is too strong and that it would require too much economic sacrifices to scout and prepare with static defenses to stop.

He moved his army out to counterattack a fortified mech position which caused most of his early losses, spent a good 1000/1000 on Mutas/melee upgrades that did effectively nothing and even positioned his couple swarm hosts directly where the Terran army was pushing. His build had no cohesion and simply was not prepared to deal with mech at all.
ok thanks.

Time for Jangbi to beat down Flash again?

One post. Sick amount.

Edit: @kgster, your question has been answered in the thread. Word. So bored of stupid balance questions and whine in LR threads.

He did scout it. He did prepare for the drops. And he still could not stop 26 drones dying because hellbat/medivac is so ridiculously OP. I think the only reason more terrans don't do it every game is becuase they feel dirty doing it since it can't fail.

I just asked because I've yet to see a pro game where a Z holds that build and wins as a result, if anyone has a vod or recommendation, I would like to see it.

Zerg cannot beat Mech. Period.

That's not a bad reasoning about Protoss in team leagues vs individual leagues.

ya i only have seen hellbat drop about 3 or so times before today in pro games and i think terran won each of these games single-handily

Flash make me some monayyy

interesting point about protoss and proxy pylons, what if pylons cost 150 mnerals and gave 12 supply?

Don't you think it's imbalanced when a zerg has to build a spore and spine at every base, and still take massive damage if he is 3 seconds too slow running drones for the cost of 4 hellbats and 2 medivacs?

I remember you, you make balance whiney posts about ZvT quite often.

But then uzer pulled something unexpected and things got okay.

Does it make roach-baneling ridiculously OP? Totally, according to you. It's all about timing and how much do you cut your own economy to be able to pull the strong aggression off.
