Proleague is pretty much PvX so you can watch that for your fix Ugh proleague. No thanks. I'll stick with GOM. Better experience all around, I'll leave it at that. Proleague is fun. Better than GSTL at least, even though the games aren't very high level T_T lol, this guy. Proleague games aren't very high level? Have you watched any games since last season? At least he's right in that Proleague is far superior to GSTL :/ To each his own. GSTL has been awesome lately. Hes right. The games in SPL, most of them arent high level. but Ive watched the GSTL and most of those arent high level either. Players are struggling to find a niche. But SPL is more entertaining than GSTL. Proleague gives me stuff like PartinG vs Innovation or Flash vs Fantasy. GSTL can't give me matchups like these. Those match ups rarely if ever live up to their hype though. Besides, I have GSL Code S, Code A or other premier tournaments like MLG to hope for match ups like those. Bo1's are never anything I particularly look forward to. Give me a Flash vs Fantasy Bo5-Bo7 and now you have my attention. GSTL gets me going precisely because it isn't just a series of preplanned matches. There's a level of spontaneity to it that only occurs in Pro-league during the ace match. I love that about it. Yeah I can understand. I don't have much time to watch Starcraft nowadays so Proleague is a more reliable provider of good live matchups. In GSTL if I watch live it could just be some unknown ladder monster guy all-killing some broke team, not very funny. Also I do think that Kespa teams are more skilled overall than eSF teams now, simply due to the environment and all that.
And I don't like Khaldor's casting at all (I like what he does for SC2 and all his side-stuff don't get me wrong), I know it's not a popular opinion but it's really the nail in the coffin for me. And yeah, I like it less that Proleague casters :D

I was really hoping for a TvT. Gumiho was really lucky to have dodged that.

That was a highly unexpected result wow. Gumiho first?!? I would predict him dead last in this group, Hyun 1st or 2nd was my upset choice. Can't win them all!
I'm actually quite happy that Rain is out though. Never liked that dude, off with HIS HEAD! BRING in the TRUE SKT King....The BeeSuit.

Toss games would be more entertaining if they werent always so deathball ish They seriously have to address that in LotV Toss's games are basically "i make ball, watch ball grow" The main problem is still that you can't lose units as protoss. They're so expensive and in small groups they do nothing and they only really become effective with decent splash support... So you just turtle... and hope you can get that golden comp before your opponent kills you. TvP has been practically the same matchup since WoL first came out. And it's rarely an exiting thing to spectate. I dont want to compare BW: SC2 but I feel it needs to be addressed. What made toss non-deathballish in BW?
You had reavers + Shuttle. A pretty freakin strong combination in the right hands that could do massive damage with small numbers. in SC2 you have colosseus.+ warp prism. No one ever uses it because its pointless. Stim units outspeed the warp prism. It just sort of dies. The fact that vikings are standard makes it so as well.
Unit clumping. BW didnt have the units clumping into a massive ball and were more wide spread. In SC2 because of the intelligent UI, the units clump up as a ball like nobodies business.
Expansion fighting. This goes for all 3 races. Instead of actively fighting for expansions, all players are doing is defending and denying, not taking the base for themselves. This = Less fighting = less entertainment

kespa also only have two s-tier terrans (and flash hasn't looked good lately)

Gumiho at his best is better than Life... His inconsistency has always been a problem, which explains why he wasn't expected to top his group, but he definitely had the potential to do it.

SOOOOO happy to see Gumiho advance! Looking forward to watching these VODs

This is actually depressingly true. Fantasy really doesn't look good at the moment and then there is nobody else I can think off.
