Just general army compositions differ so wildly atm, and what happens when people get more comfortable adding the new ravens for example? How many mines are actually the optimal amount in the lategame? Stop thinking you have it all figured out, these posts make my head hurt.

No idea if it's relevant to his play here but it seemed like he under-performed for some reason. Yeah, it's a real shame, and it's apparently been an issue since last summer. Hopefully he recovers soon.

I was going to say that the medivac is too strong in the current metagame, people may learn to deal with it or it might get nerfed to appropriate levels. Either way you would be stupid not to abuse it in the current meta, especially considering how it doesn't require you to perfect new builds or unit compositions, it's the same old WOL stuff. Better?

Mech is plenty viable The better question is where this sense of entitlement to a unit composition is coming from? If mech units work better with bio support, or only in certain phases of the game, then that's the way it is. You don't see Protoss players whining they want to play with 'pure gateway' or 'pure robo' or 'pure air' in every imaginable situation and matchup and that the game is somehow flawed if every unit composition isn't identically strong in every single situation. Mech with Ghosts works just fine vs Toss, and yet I see Terrans whining that using Ghosts means it's not 'pure mech' anymore which is a ridiculous statement to say the least. Don't even get started on the upgrades being split between mech and bio. Even the so called 'Skytoss' has High Templars and some other crap like Archons on the ground and the air and ground get upgraded separately.

A strategy can only be called viable once it has been tested extensively at the highest level of play.

Mech vP is just a joke in a macro game compared to bio.

you mean that it's at the very least way worse than bio once you start building a 3rd ? Mech vP is just a joke in a macro game compared to bio. Whether your opinion is true or false in reality is largely irrelevant. This sense of entitlement to unit compositions is ludicrous. The Terran players who are emotionally invested to whining in these threads are essentially refusing to use their race's units that absolutely do work because they like other units (whether it's visually or whatever) more. This is a competitive RTS game. Use whatever works and move on.
