They did´nt stream Ret-NE? That´s sad, should have been the highlight of Group D.

I have hit it once on ladder and was absolutely demolished by a player ranked far lower than myself. You can actually run through storms since everything in the composition can survive 3 full storms if you have medivac support. It actually made me think that you might have to start opening stargate in PvT, but then I never saw it on ladder ever again. I showed it to one of my Terran practice partners and I haven't beaten him in a longer game while he used that composition in practice games so far. I hope HerOMarine faces another protoss this tournament so I can see if someone else figures out how to deal with it. Chargelot Archon is very strong versus that composition. Nope, I always open chargelot archon, that's what it killed so badly. I don't even know the build order for a colossus opener. EH, it works for me when I off race as Toss. My brothers love Hellbat/Rauder/Viking. Make sure you mix in some sentries for a few FFs as well. Another thing that works really well is making a shitload of immortals with gateway units. There is also just making voids... Point is there is lots of ways to beat it. i dont wanna offend u, but i doubt that u playing offrace vs your brothers is all that great to determine weather a strategy is good or bad^^ fact is, hellbats are incredibly powerful vs zealots, and forcefields arent all that helpful against players with medivac micro

Pretty bullshit if you ask me. Forgg deserves to go through the group...

so its either the players or more the managers responsibility to read the rules beforehand and let the players know what is on the line and what they have to do to advance. its not that much work, it takes about 5 minutes to find and read that i assume.

Messioso (Assistant Head Admin Person): Our rules that were given in the player briefing stated that head2head would be used when players were tied. This meant that because BabyKnight beat ForGG, when they both finished 3-2, BabyKnight took 3rd place over ForGG. The same theory was applied to Snute and JonnyREcco, where Snute beat JonnyREcco so he took 1st place, and JonnyREcco took 2nd. There were no "influence" decisions.

Where are the rules? Were they posted ahead of time? Even the casters had no idea and I imagine they should have a rulebook handy.

Rules are "coming soon" so rules can be everything, they even can change them whatever they want since nothing is written....

The who won the most maps thing some tournaments have done before, once resulting in Grubby going through I believe (in an IEM?) is absolutely ridiculous and should never be used.

This guy has one of the best macro out there. And if you ever watch his stream (he streams 10 hours a day, btw) he literally never cheeses.
