The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained. |

Well, he kind of is from South Korea. Yeah, Solberga is almost the same thing. I mean he's been staying in Korea for quite a while now. Sir, you've just been trolled.

Thereby demonstrating training in Korea and being from Korea are two different things. More like that training in Korea for a short time and training in Korea during your whole career are two different things.
Thereby showing that sending your players to Korea, out of their comfort zone, away from their friends & family, etc. does not pay off.
Thorzain looked completely outclassed vs. Killer, the only Terran in this entire tournament to look so helpless vs. Zerg.

first terran loss in the tourney !!

I'm confident the Zergs will find a way eventually, but this series was brutal. Maybe the reason is Leenock is just not good enough, Life probably can do better. Oh boy here it comes. Prepare for another "Terran are just better players thread" soon. Well, for quite a bit, in game 2 at least, Leenock was playing with his entire army in one hotkey. Eventually he left units in multiple spots, but INnoVation did have quite superior multitasking. MC said Zerg players became poor because they were so used to using just a couple units all in one clump. I do think in this case INnoVation is a better player than Leenock, but I also think the games would've been quite different against someone like Life.
The amount of presupposition.

If that's great play, I feel that the game was soured by zerg skill in WoL. The key word is static. Terran can drop and kill drones, hatchery or tech. Build static defenses to defend all three and you won't have any units. Because of medivac boost, placing spores in the path of medivacs is totally useless. They can just run away and go drop somewhere else. This ability is fun to watch, but it'll be hard to balance obviously... Scourge-like units could be a good fix. Scourge would break all ZvT and ZvP, probably. Imagine- Scourge the new anti- colossi :O (then the swarm hosts reign supreme)

Prepare for another "Terran are just better players thread" soon. I'm saying Leenock is probably not top 3 zerg, I wouldn't be surprised if he's not in top 5 zerg ranking. But Bogus is probably No.1 or 2 terran. Currently Leenock is 6th zerg and 8th overall in TLPD ELO Because the TLPD ELO is remotely accurate.
Is it less accurate than what fanboys perceive as the best players? I doubt it.

Turtling up building spines and spores when you're behind on eco is an amateur move.
good point until you consider that Leenock had tons of minerals in the bank and a terran that's constantly dropping. Sure, double drops will kill static defenses quickly, but I do think having a couple of spines and spores COULD help if there's zergling support nearby. What Leenock was doing didn't seem particularly effective.

killer vs thorzain seems like slow-mode after watching leenock vs innovation.
