Really looking forward to this tourney, especially due to the format. Kind of interesting to see that they're going to fly out 16 players for a single Bo5, but I suppose that's the best they're going to be able to do without a massive loser's bracket. | ||

Going to be good tournament though the only thing is I wish it was a little longer after HOTS so people were more familiar with it and I think the balance is a little out of whack. | ||

Terran prevailed. well it's not really even that; nestea, sniper, curious and drg simply played bad. even in those games there wasn't much in the way of hellbats haha (that was more of last-soulkey series) | ||

Zerg did pretty badly against Terran, IIRC, but I can't confirm or deny if hellbat drops were solely to blame (poor play, experience with the beta, etc.). I'd like it if Blizzard did nothing with balance for a month or two. Just let players figure it out. Yeah Terran will be kinda OP, but it wouldn't be any different from 2011(GomTvTvTvT). Give people time to figure things out. Yeah it will be hard for Zergs, but they've been OP for a year so who cares? :p They should just leave things as is for now. No open bracket does suck, but the sick lineup and free 720p make up for it. I just hope MLG does something to makeup for no OB in the future. Even if its just an open online qualifier where they give the top 8 seeds into the event or whatever. | ||
