I think we won't see mech because they're going to be taking this seriously.
I am sure than mech can be good at prolvl. But not enought micro for koreans And Terrans dont want to change there custom too much. Many old BO are still very good with the new medicav ability.

I've been asking for mech since the start, but Goody seems to be the only one willing to even try it outside of STC.
I think it makes perfect sense that we aren't seeing any TvP mech in this tournament. When the Terran goes bio the matchup is more or less the same as it was in WoL, except with more diversity in openings and super Medivacs. It's a style they have been playing for almost 3 years and will be most comfortable with. Mech is far less understood, far less refined, and they won't have had any opportunity to practice it for week leading up to the tournament. Sticking to bio for now just makes far more sense.

Mech is actually viable, you can play mech against protoss and be in an even, or even an advantageous position, but I would imagine since it's not been as practiced as much as bio people won't go it as much.
Sorry I realise this is completely contradicting my previous point.

Like what? these seem like solid questions to me.
Do you see any balance issues from watching todays games?
VoidRays seem kinda OP, but he mentioned that. Other than that the Game is fine.
VR are strong, but it seems that players didnt figure out that they need to quit and wait for they charge to end. Hard to talk about balance anyway for now. The more aware of new units and strategies simply win.
Quit what? You don't leave an engagement you've committed enough to for the other player to activate PA without taking considerable damage and doing none to your enemy.
You'll be left with less units to reengage with (especially the slow critical units like BL/siegetank/colossi) when the enemy's PA has run out.

I think also it is because mech is more of 'defensive' build in the early game. And with the new HoTS meta game, a lot of early aggression timings haven't been figured out. So it well take more time for players to really nail down mech builds that aren't vulnerable to timings.

I get what you mean. I know mech is someone viable in competitive play but having played wings for 3 years and practiced bio in beta I'd flip shit if YoDa decided to randomly go for mech compositions outside of a 2 base allin on antiga or ohana.

Yeah. Once you are committed, the damage comes to quick to really try to disengage.

It's not like it's a ground unit. People keep saying why do you attack into it...you're 100% committed aside from a recall once you engage. You can't fucking run away from an air unit like voids, you'll just lose units needlessly.
