Sniper did get consecutive ro4s if you count the Blizzard cup but it is a lot easier to do that.
I would argue that Code S Championship > Consecutive Ro4's
In prestige and prize money sure. There is no way it is as difficult though.
I don't know about that. Though it does not discredit his achievements, he's gotten to play his best match-ups against (arguably) somewhat weaker opponents. I'm not saying he's not really good because he is, but he's not exactly setting any crazy records. If he wins this championship, I'll give him "Best Terran in the world" without arguing. Until then, potentially clawing your way into the round of 4 twice isn't my idea of "Cannot be overhyped"
Life did some crazy stuff before he got half the hype Innovation is getting now, and that bothers me too.
He's setting a record in being the first player to get consecutive ro4s since MVP in late 2011.
Didn't Life make multiple records as youngest player to win GSL, youngest to win MLG, only player to win both in a week, only player to make a 4 game comeback in a major finals and The second zerg player to ever win 2 GSLS?

Two consecutive RO4's is pretty good... but its not like he's setting mind-blowing records here or anything.
Life Royal Roaded a GSL then won an MLG before he was getting hype like this hahaha.
Everyone pretty much considered Life the best player in the world when he smashed Taeja 7-0 (3-0 of that in the GSL semis), way before he won Blizzard Cup or MLG.
We aren't saying Innovation is amazing because he has won a couple games, we are saying it because his play is amazing.
His play in the Ro16 was amazing... nothing else he has done has been memorable for me *shrugs*
You're a shrugger. Stop it! ^^
Ummmmm.... ok ok.. I'll amend it

I think the problem people have with Innovation that don't play terran is that they don't see all the aspects of play that Innovation does really well; the baneling targeting, the multitasking off camera with a drop while defending against the zerg main push, positioning. its clear that he has better mechanics then Symbol here when Symbol runs left and right with his whole army to defend drops.
but thats why I'm betting on Symbol, because when your opponent has better basics then you, you get scrappy, you make interesting plays, and Innovation has done nothing innovative so far this series (well except that reaper, what was that? lol), hes just good. Even if Symbol loses I can count on him to wrack his brain trying to outthink Innovation, which is a beautiful thing to see. Go Symbol! xD
