Usual rules apply. Balance whine will be moderated harshly. |

Yeah the Observer even pointed it out, and i think Kaeleris knew it too, he just didn't want to make Day9 look dumb

+1. I thought it was pretty clear he was winning from the moment he moved out. But maybe he was creating tension or something and sure, it wasn't 100 %.

It is rather fun to listen to the french cast, even though I only know a little bit of french.

stupid hate on day9 this was a random all-in which should not work 9 out of 10 times and the only thing he actually said was that it is very risky. He got lucky DRG was teching for so many things.

Caster's trying to convince us it's not awful
I do think the matchup is good, but it's just so annoying constantly hearing "DIS NO MOAR COINFLIP/KNIFEFIGHT". you have safe builds, it's no more coinflipply than TvT It is (imo) alot more boring though. In TvT you have so many strategies, also later in the game, while ZvZ is in the beginning some ling/bling stuff (which while better than in the past when that was skipped, I can say as spectator I am really looking forward to it), into roach/infestor/hydra, and finally BLs included. It is simply too literally a mirror matchup often. Sure sometimes some mutas are made, but too often it is just a mirror. Even if TvT is a mirror build, it is imo alot more dynamic.
ZvZ past openings is all about timings/droning, it's not appealing for the random viewer but if you know a bit about it there is a lot of strategic stuff going on. The awesome thing about TvT is that mech is possible, marine/tank vs marine/tank is the exact same thing as ZvZ minus the lategame comp that doesn't exist.

I'm watching the French one all the way through, though, Iron Squid is just made to be enjoyed in French. And I'm happy if I understand a sentence after a couple of years of not speaking it.

Agree with Day9. Worst is LG-IM MVP. It's like a product code for a monitor or something.

English stream is one of the better streams from any tournament I've seen in a while. but the French stream is just that much better right now O.o

No mention of the 9 pool so far. Kinda weird.
And now they call it a 10 pool. Time to wake up casters!

no it was not clear. It looked bad but it would have been a lot closer if DRG had stopped his tech the secound he sees the all in. Additionally the banelingconnections were huge.

Great game by Nestea though
sad thing that kalaeris is apparently not on the top of his game today, he is imo the caster with the deepest knowledge about zvz. Normaly he is the guy who is able to make zvz really interessting for me as a viewer.
