That was a great game by Nerchio... 11/11 just does not seem to work against him, MVP tried that too on IEM Cologne.
I play random | I like Hots | INnoVation | sOs | Tefel TOP1!

No, he was OK, Nerchio's Queens were super delayed.

lol????

Who are we kidding? proxy 11-11 is not really cheese. However roach baneling aggression against a scouted 3oc followup to 11-11 is insanely cheesy and not the right response at all.

He stayed because he expected Nerchio to play correctly, not do a random all in. If Nerchio had played correctly, Yoda would have out macro'd him easily with like 6 drops at the same time and a push at the 4th

again this is tvz were talking about. if this was tvt then yah that match up is pretty fair for terran

The correct way is to not react to your opponents failed cheese?...

In football it makes sense, because you stimulate the teams to play offensive because you reward more total goals.
This doesnt apply to map wins, so it doesnt make sense there.

Why, I am asking why you don't stimulate the players to take one game off an opponent even when you're losing a series?

No. Thats already stimulated, because players would have a worse map difference if they wouldnt take that game.
Counting total map wins changes nothing there.

Winning in close series is better than losing in close series. Losing in close series is better than being owned. What doesn't make sence here to you?

It is already better because you get a better map difference.
(you are arguing to count total map wins which changes nothing in that regard)

Sorry? Grubby had 7 wins and Moonglade 6, isn't it based on total map wins and you're arguing it should be based on ratio instead?

Yes.
Maybe you think carefully through what I explained. Don't know if I can say it better.

I agree what you said about ratio and that it also encourages to win more games _but_ I think that if we go from here: how to encourage players to win as many games as possible? It's not winratio but most wins that comes as a natural answer. That's my opinion.

How does most total wins encourage you to get more wins than win ratio? Please explain your logic. Opinion isn't really relevant here we can talk about it completely objectively.

What do you mean "play correctly". Nerchio defended the 11/11, saw an opportunity and killed YoDa. Sounds correct for me.

Yes, the correct way to play is to let terran win! I hope Yoda just plays it safe. He's a way better macro player than Nerchio in my book.

It was not random . Nerchio knew the tanks were delayed . Why playing a long game he might lose ?

I was going to ask "did anyone else notice the "LoL DOTA2" poster guy but I see here are trolls of our own. Come on - how blind can anyone be to say that Yoda was ahead or outplaying Nerchio or that Nerchio did random all in. That's just stupid.

You are encouraging players to win as many games as possible by counting the map difference as first tie-breaker.
You can't encourage it more than that.

I never troll. And if you cant see why he is outplaying Yoda ill be happy to educate you. First Nerchio defence the 11/11 perfectly. Then he scout Yoda going 3 CC with an overseer so Nerchio throw down his roach warren and baneling nest while building shit loads of drones. Its a perfect counter to 11/11 followed by 3rd CC. And since this is an eco Roach/ling/bling attack Nerchio don't even have to kill Yoda he just have to do dmg and he will be so fare ahead.

This my dear is called outplaying

Because people seem to think that no matter what, listen to Artosis. Nerchio should have got more ahead, not just gone and killed him.
