Actually Zenio or Thorzain might be better in this case.

Although it's pretty lame that you can't ladder on these Proleague maps in SC2. Had that been possible, JYP probably wouldn't have gotten caught off guard so easily. Made my day, LOL.

Lack of preperation can be blamed on JYP and EG-TL, JYP did not know how to handle early herass, that tells me JYP didn't practice this map to the fullest.

So what, send out zenio? He hasnt done anything in ages. Thorzain? Puma?
Anyways that map really is awful. Great idea giving zerg a thousand points of attack to your natural with fast dying rocks.
Such massive parallels between the Kespa maps. On one hand there are the godlike rocks on Arkanoid while the rocks here exploded from a light wind

That's like saying that the zerglings screwed JYP over and it wasn't his fault. The map is part of the game. He didn't prepare well enough for it.

Zenio proved himself as capable in ZvZ so it should be considered and TaeJa was there, I think he would be able to play. HerO looks "shaky" but I still think he is better than JYP. The main problem was that JYP was completly unprepared for that 10 pool with the rocks destroyed. The coach should warn him about things like that.

Yes, because us posters know so much better than the coaches... How many people here ripped January when they sent Shine out as ace earlier today?
Seriously, if you guys want to make the player decision. You can try to apply for the job. But don't be surprised when you get laughed at.

Awww. Stephano so cute when he type 'gl, hf' :D My heart melted

So sad the posts peeps make targeting 1 player, there were 4 matches lost, not 1 by the last player. Mistakes happen in any match, but i saw alot of good stuff too. There is certainly room for improvement regarding the next match, but theyll get there, dont worry they all have the talent

Has it ever been confirmed how the line ups are chosen, is it Hwanni or the coach or do EG-TL player managers get together with Hwanni/Coach and set up a big 'what if' list for who to come out when/where. It would be cool to know how it works.
Not the greatest player picks imo but we never know the full reasons behind them.

To people that are saying "Dont blame the map"... explain me how can you defend an early poll in a map that has 3 ways to get in your natural ?

Snow is the only protoss to ever lose to another race on this map, ever.

Hero is still 100 times better overall than JYP and also he is really good vs Zerg. Hero would have stomped Hydra with his monitor closed and hands tied to his back. Even Taeja would have won. And Jaedong eats GSL zergs for breakfast. HOW TF can you send out JYP in this situation? What did the other players worked and won points for? So all would go down the drain by a really stupid coach decision?

Probably JYP is destroying in practice but the pressure of ace is too much too soon.

Cannon build time is 40 seconds and 6-8 lings destroyed the rocks with like about 5 seconds left for the cannon to finish... That seems ridiculous that starting lings can do that much damage... Not sure to conclude whether the map is imbalanced because rocks have no armor, or JYP was unprepared. Watching that game was just plain stupid. Remember that he could also have walled off at the bottom of his ramp instead of an entrance.
Hmm yeah thats true. But with 3 avenues of attack in the natural. I think JYP and other Protosses (I'm going on a whim here because I'm not certain) can't really safely take the base because they have to defend from those 3 avenues. I may not be the most knowledgeable person but defending early aggression from Zerg with Protoss on that maybe doesn't to be done well yet, because I don't think anyone was able to do it so far...
