what is good about 2 base roach/infestor turtle vs 2 base roach/infestor turtle?
occasionally someone gets sniped by a ling/bling timing and then you have no idea what is happening until the GG because of creep and the fact that Lings are so small

4g PvP was more enjoyable than ZvZ lol

The thread really is slow today. People don't seem to be emotionally invested in ZvZ matches.

It's just the TvT of 2012 is all. Touraments have ended up fairly ZvZ top heavy lately and a lot of people are tired with it. Once balance shifts and we eventually see less of it people will relish it the way TvT is relished today (though TvT was way more fun to watch in late 2011 IMO).
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

TvZ to me is way too stale and a fragment of what it was.
IT usually just focuses around a pre-hive push or a pre-spire/infestation pit push, which then determines the game. Creep makes it so that you either win or lose with that push.

You don't see old 1-2 tank mairne medivac pushes or back and forth battles determining the game, it's pretty exciting when there are mutas but they only last for a while and then it gets into broodlord infestor where T loses.

And TvT imo is the best matchup right now, followed by ZvZ, then TvP.

And ZvZ is definitely wayyyy better than PvP, the only thing cool about PvP is micro and that happens in ZvZ

Way more interesting to be honest, because theres a lot more decision making in managing a tank/viking army and positioning correctly. Cant walk around in a ball with tank/viking.

I didn't watch gsl when it was tvtvtvt, but I really like tvt. Zvz though, I'm not too intruiged by, no particular reason.

It's more the personalities I think with Grubby, MKP and TLO out. Not many know much about Symbol, not many like Xlord (because of his general behaviour, just like Naniwa and Nerchio, mostly even back from wc3 times) and Snute is still relatively unknown.

The only one who polarizes enough to gather a fanbase is Stephano.

Between the posts of people crying to hell about the amount of zergs the final stages (and I think the same, I'd rather watch some ZvT) you can actually see people following a game between two top foreigners. These games are good can we watch them instead of bitching every two posts? Anything is better than PvP or PvZ anyways.


Blizzard is not reading this LR thread, if you want to tell them go to their forums, facebook or tweet them ffs.

TvT is best matchup in game by far. Better player wins more often than any other.

Blizz ruined it in HOTS, but TvT in Wings is truly special.
