The players are literally all over the place. Attacking and defending several places at once while managing their macro very well etc. When it is used figuratively it means the persons mind is all over the place, unfocused, confused etc. | ||

He is all over the place does not imply him being disoriented. It simply means he is everywhere at once. He is doing good attacks or defends in multiple places. | ||
