i doubt hero gave that map to ret.

Poor form from a Liquid player.
DH should have never let him pause to find out also.
Especially after the professionalism speech by Nazgul before the game.

So unprofessional...1 of the reasons were light years away from Korea...

Maybe im alone in this, but this whole ordeal didnt seem funny to me at all, it gold old on the first 5 minutes, and concluded in a shitty series played like shit and with no fun at all....
i dont even like naniwa, it could have been any player and i still wouldn´t have liked it
ps ret should have gotten drop, and he was golden

rets got some severe lack of judgement and proper mentality in a lot of situations. Really disappointed me with his decision to throw the game. There's such a thing as sportsmanship and just because YOU can't advance doesn't mean you should completely disregard everyone else's future in the tournament. Selfish and childish, but to be honest at this point I am not surprised. I feel bad for Nazgul..

I have a suspicion that this was the case.

haha it even got editted on liquipedia, it showed NE was through just a sec ago, not anymore

Naniwa goes through! Right?

Shouldn't it be tiebreakers between naniwa, forgg and nightend. All of them are 5-7 in maps and gone 2-3 in games.
|
Teamliquid should take a serious talk with Ret after this... Not cool
|
Can someone explain what the hell is going on does Naniwa advance or not? I cant find any stable answers so much qq lol

can any of the mods just put a banner on top explaining why Nani advances anyway so we don't have to repeat it every page?

Then why did the admins tell apollo a totally different story...naniwa out if nightend wins 2-0

It couldn't. Had been already been explained. Or do we suddenly forget about forGG ?

If Naniwa advances then Ret's non competitive game is forgivable
But obviously, no one is clear on the rules
Doesn't help when the casters act pretty amatuerish by trolling

Nightend, ForGG and Naniwa are all 5-7 in maps.
Naniwa beats ForGG 2-0 Nightend beats Naniwa 2-1 ForGG beats Nightend 2-1
So they are all even except that Naniwa is the only one with a 2-0 victory in the 3-way tie.
Naniwa should be the one advancing.

What do comments like this even achieve? Ret's getting a crapton of flak right now and who the fuck cares what Naniwa fans did back then? Are you just trying to insult his fanbase by calling them butthurt or what? And no, I dislike Naniwa quite a bit, especially much when he did that shit in the GSL.
