In the first attack from Rain, I could actually not see the lings coming from behind. I knew what was happening, but I couldn't see it. It's that bad. How do you expect anyone to notice this stuff? All I can do is count colossus.
You should notice that there was only one vortex. Then DRG neuraled the mothership and could not vortex the protoss army. Then neural ran out, and the mothership still did not vortex.
what happened to the other 100 energy? the only place he could have hid a vortex is inside the other vortex.

But I am. Is it always this bad? =( Not always, but way too much. And about all three races. I think a big part of the problem is that people get married to the idea of certain players being stronger than others and then assume what they're seeing is bearing out their assumptions. Everyone 'knew' going into this game that Bison was better than DRG (which is silly, IMHO), and so when DRG wins a macro game, it must be imbalance. As other people have stated more clearly, it was much more about Bison committing to a questionable strategy and it not paying off no matter how brilliantly he played it than anything balance-related. Edit: Also, of course, the vortex thing. By.Sun

lol.... This LR had 10 pages at the start. 67 Pages after ONE game. It goes to show that good games are always the best recipe for success.

I agree that most PvZ's suck, but what exactly was wrong with that game?
Absolutely agreed.
Can I decently say that I was bored? No, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and it was great!

LOL foreign Terrans have been complain this for almost a year now the whole community finally realize bl+infestors are OP? This is actually so sad for the foreign Terran pros, their number and voice are too small to hear. You should re-read what you have posted, then proceed to facepalm. Liquid'Sea a foreign terran? Try again You should facepalm...
Please explain why

If you think things like number of workers, bases, etc. are the final say in who wins a game you need to think about the game in a more fluid way. This is like in chess when a player sacrifices all of his pieces except the two or three that deliver checkmate to achieve his aggressive goal. Much like in Hero vs. Leenock recently - if you don't understand how the Zerg is winning (long game army quality attrition war) then maybe you should think about the game in a more complex manner.
I for one REALLY enjoyed that game. I felt like Rain played incredibly well but it just goes to show that his main aim (winning in a long game) and his methods (harassment, not army quality) may be a lost case. I wonder when Protoss will start doing what top zergs are (turtling, making sacrifices and crafting a perfect army that one shots anything)... maybe in HOTS with Tempest? GG you got a point when you say the main aim and the tactics Rain pulled out is a lost case. The question though is what better methods can Rain pull off. And it is such a pity that a lot of people think that they have already exhausted all the possibilities.
Excellent point and one I should have added to my post: this game's possibilities are not yet exhausted. I remember last year when Terran end-game was unbeatable and when Protoss endgame was unbeatable ("unbeatable" I mean).... I enjoy this game so much more because I enjoy it to watch the times change, to watch these pros develop the game and break our minds as we realize how little we understood before.
I'll paraphrase Artosis here: People like to whine but they don't even know what the best strategies are yet. I wish more people would think like Artosis does about the game - I think they'd enjoy watching it more as a true spectator sport and just let all be revealed in time.

Infestors would rip carriers apart. Not only then pin carriers in place with fungal and drop infested terran to kill, they also fungal the interceptors. Let's face it, Infestors rip every unit in this game apart. Yeah. Only units that beat Infestors are .... Infestors. QFT
Infestors are just too good vs everything. Toss' deathball, air units( like corruptors are not enough to beat every air unit protoss have already). *sigh*.
Now protoss or terran have to either win game early or just play perfectly or they will face an army of blords and infestors and probably lose.
Hope now we'll see some faster games, which Rain WILL win. =)

It would require a shit ton of micro, but it sure as hell would be awesome to see. DRG had 27 infes, with one warp prism you can drop 4 templar who have 4 feedbacks each, so with awesome micro he can kills 16 infes. DRG has still 11 infes, so he still wins.
Yea, then just take more than one prism. xD
