- happy DRG won - rain played better - map is bad for zerg and once he fell behind early theres really no other option that turtle for DRG - maybe rain shuld have tried base race at end once he lost mothership since zerg base was already nearly dead - not too long ago when toss hit max with 5-6 colossi stalker and void deathball it was gg for zerg

I talking about the game we just saw. You're watching the same game I am right now, and you can tell that was kind of silly right? >.> We all just sat here for 45 minutes watching it ... Unless somehow you accrued 2.5k posts and can't understand the game that was just played in front of everyone I don't know what else to say. It was silly, nothing more @_@;;

If you think things like number of workers, bases, etc. are the final say in who wins a game you need to think about the game in a more fluid way. This is like in chess when a player sacrifices all of his pieces except the two or three that deliver checkmate to achieve his aggressive goal. Much like in Hero vs. Leenock recently - if you don't understand how the Zerg is winning (long game army quality attrition war) then maybe you should think about the game in a more complex manner. I for one REALLY enjoyed that game. I felt like Rain played incredibly well but it just goes to show that his main aim (winning in a long game) and his methods (harassment, not army quality) may be a lost case. I wonder when Protoss will start doing what top zergs are (turtling, making sacrifices and crafting a perfect army that one shots anything)... maybe in HOTS with Tempest? GG there is no PERFECT army for the other races vs the broodlord infestor

Took 30 minutes of no direct attacks from Rain for him to lose because he can't do anything. I don't even understand what he could have done considering his fantastic timing on his warp prism harass. Quite silly. The best option he had was going for a base race imo. Using mass recall.

With so many bases, that transition should have come ages ago. But again, BL/Infestor is a real hard combo to break. Rain allowed so many infestors to hatch when he had a window to do some serious damage to DRG's economy. Felt like that first attack was pretty poorly handled by Rain, as well as that warp prism harass came wayy too late.
