I for one REALLY enjoyed that game. I felt like Rain played incredibly well but it just goes to show that his main aim (winning in a long game) and his methods (harassment, not army quality) may be a lost case. I wonder when Protoss will start doing what top zergs are (turtling, making sacrifices and crafting a perfect army that one shots anything)... maybe in HOTS with Tempest? GG

That was incredibly close and well played by both sides, each abusing their race as much as they could (that warp prism/stalker harass was ridic). I agree that most PvZ's suck, but what exactly was wrong with that game? Except it wasn't incredibly close. Despite what doatrap says, there was no point in the game where Rain had a chance at taking down DRG's army.

Rain was hitting so many feedbacks that many other tosses would not be able to hit. He was relentless that game. It's kinda like watching David vs Goliath ![]() I think the main problem was attacking. He had DRG's 5th shut down and had his 5th secured. Needed to milk that eco advantage and force DRG to attack into him.

I agree that most PvZ's suck, but what exactly was wrong with that game? It was well played by one side. The other side sat over one base with static defense and the strongest two units in the game against any composition. He let his main hive die, he let his tech die, he let his macro hatch, his fifth and a number of infestors die to a drop easily handled by a few brood lords and micro management.

Not just in PvZ, but in TvZ and even ZvZ. It's pretty much turtle into the op composition and win. It's frustrating to watch, and even more frustrating to play against. Most everyone felt the same way when Protoss was the deathball race back in the day. It's not zerg, it's the fucking turtling deathball that everyone hates.
