No, but it is absurd that he wasn't definitively behind until he'd lost 80 or more of those 131.

good to see qxc in good form.

Nope. Mostly because he wasn't in that game. Ret was down 5 bases to 4, the terran had an army that was vastly more efficient/effective/expensive. Aaand, despite having a worse army, he was still down supply.
So, shocker - after doing average drop defense against above-average harass, he was behind, and lost.

No, I'm cool with it. Helps me keep my eyes open.

Broken macro mechanics is the thing that's not mentioned much when people think about the state of the game. Not surprising since it's such an integral part of the game so changing it or removing it would have disastrous effects. But because zergs can just inject larva it makes helion runbys pretty anticlimatic. Roasting a dozen drones is not really exciting anymore because it doesn't really matter in the long run. Contrast that with a reaver drop. Every single worker killed MATTERS. Because it gives a very measurable disadvantage to lose a dozen workers.

TB and Day9 are some of my favourite personalities in the scene and they seem to make a pretty awesome casting duo, I hope they cast more events together.

Some people just want to balance whine about everything -_-
and some people take stuff out of context.
I was merely talking about his ability to stay in the game, and them being even in supply around 150 after QXC lost his push.

I think that is the point. Just keep rebuilding drones shouldn't really be a valid strategy. Maybe after the first round, you need to redrone back. But when he does it again and again, it just makes for poor gameplay.

"Not bad, were you trying to prove something?" Lol TB...

If you keep having to rebuild drones, you aren't actually moving forward at all. I don't think stagnating while behind is a valid strategy lol.

I love QXC because he looks like average joe, I always love how he interacts with community, brings lots of great comments on SotG and really tries to bring good games. I wish Santa would give him Korean skills for Christmas then he could also be a lovable tournament winner too.

He got enough infestors up to stopped that first push with basically infested terrans. Since infestors can get their energy back, if he turtled at that point, he was in a decent position.
