Lategame ZvP is disgustingly bad. You do know Protoss has been mostly winning with a single vortex the same way a single neural turns the tide. Why apologize? that's the point im a protoss player, but why should the whole matchup be decided on one spell? it is bad game design on both sides You complain about something that has been there since the beginning. Why continue to watch if it bothers you so much? A few years of this by now you should know what to expect. obviously the whole game isn't designed poorly, PvZ from early-> midgame when zerg is establishing a 4th and teching to greater spire is when the game is balanced. In the late game, protoss has literally ONE counter to broodlord infestor, and ironically, if you are caught out of position ONCE, zerg can use the one counter you have(vortex) against you and it is the same from the other side while establishing a 4th and 5th with zerg, you have to mass spine to tech up to broodlord infestor because Ultras are pretty shitty in ZvP, giving you really ONE option to go in the lategame(which doesn't make any sense either) if you accidentally move all your broodlords onto a spot, even one wrong shiftque, a vortex can end the game I enjoy playing the game because of the strategy and decision making that you have to put into it, but at a point the decisions you make and the reasons you do it become irrelevant because of game design alright five minutes into that actual game is long enough to shut up

And about the balance whine, well the truth of zvp is not that it is not balanced, but that it is balanced in a silly way... LR Threads are not intended to talk balance, and never have been. Complaining about balance in an LR thread is banworthy. Being a douche about it just increases the chances to get banned.

Edit: I swear that thread-warning gets bigger every time I go to the next page XD Because it gives unfair advantages due to 3rd party software. What third party software? Doesn't everyone have a scroll-wheel? Or am I missing something? Please forgive my ignorance, lol Most? mouse drivers don't support scroll wheel being click, so you need something to rebind it to left-click.

Then with the scroll wheel they can paint ITs across the map pretty much instantly. There's a noticeable difference in execution time between this method and conventional IT spam.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. Most players abuse the Zerg "deathball" lack of mobility with harassment. Hero is normally good about doing this. I find for some reason or another, the Protoss players just went for head to head battles with deathball vs deathball and lost to the better deathball user. Nothing wrong with that. People complaining about a single neural or a single vortex making the match up boring when they should really be complaining about a single deathball vs deathball engagement deciding the fate of the game. I like the idea of breaking up the deathball as suggested by many other posts. Time will tell if Blizzard will go that route... We can hope :D User was warned for this post Edit: I was warned? I didn't notice this post was balance whine... I'm fine with the balance I was suggesting a change up in the gameplay? >.>
