As I said, the foreing scene has proven that the best BW foregin players became top sc2 foregin players. very few of the top ones that put effort into it failed. Examples: Idra, Dimaga, White-ra, Sen, Sheth, Ret, Mana, Morrow, Fenix, Haypro, Major, Goody, Strelok, Nony, Lowley, Brat.OK. Also the best koreans who has been most consistent were also the probably the best BW players that switched: MC / MvP / Fruitdealer. They were all poor preforming A-teamers as the article states. How can you say their skill does not transfer? Of course it will, in a very large portion. Just look at Korea as an BW nation, skill hasnt transfered? comon... What is the difference in A and B teamers then? Multitasking (30 Mvps incoming), reaction time, decision making are some, that is just so supperior in players like Flash & Jaedong once they get some depth into the game. You cannot say this does not transfer, those are the things that matter the most I would say in a RTS game also in SC2. Build orders and counters, anyone can learn. And during the years of watching korean BW, their ability to do these things on a top level, has far surpassed anything we've seen in sc2 so far (and sc2 being an easier game mechanics wise) What Rain has showed the past weeks is incredible. You might be right that the PL has become more and more only SC2, still I doubt they have changed like key settings for full sc2 benefit, since they stil have to play both. Give Kespa players couple more months and they will prove every doubter wrong. I think I needed to put my emphasis on the word 'directly'. Of course, RTS skills like reaction time, multitasking, etc will transfer. And Kespa players will certain be good in sc2. What I am trying to say is that since there are some fundamentals differences between the 2 games, you cannot say player A is better than player B in BW, so player A will be better than player B in SC2. For example, Stephano was a WC3 semi-pro and he is much better than Grubby/Moon in SC2. Of course, that has to do with age as well. Maybe someone like Rain, Roro, Flying, Baby etc will become that top SC2 players instead of TBLS. All I am saying is that the article was just too simplistic in its views.

It was odd to me in the end game toss v terran - both toss players opted to not use DT's to harrass with drops on expo's etc... which was odd to me. They were throwing endless units at eachother with LOTS of archons and terran was relying heavily on MULES. Why not drop DTS and force scans etc... to cut down on mules and harrass? Just a thought. Anyone know if Flash will be in GSL soon? I am LOVING watching the Kespa players.
