YuGiOh is being too passive and indecisive, he wanted to go for his normal fast hive tech style but hasn't been too interested in teching strongly

yugioh is the modern kyrix, can't do anything other than make infestors and ends up behind a spine wall with only 2 bases more often than not, it's like his thing.

He does it because he doesn't like changing his fast hive tech style, protosses have just figured there's a chance to wreck to third due to his style so his 3rd gets destroyed and yugioh hides at his natural.

Most of the players are underwhelming today with the exception of creator. Every other player has fallen in results or is relatively unknown.

I think it is pretty certain that he wanted to fight Happy's army just where Happy ended up positioning it anyway. This is definitely right, and the poorly thought out unit design in this game largely contributes to the way armies are used.

1. Vikings and ghosts are practically the same unit - control space in one direction with their range. They need to be with the army and move in only one line.
2. You need 4-5 pieces together to make a functional army. If the pieces are split apart, each falls apart terribly.



ghosts can pretty easily act in pairs and stop hts from multiple angles unless you are lazy and only use them in 1 group. Creator kept the rocks to the 4th alive, i thought thats pretty risky for the 4th as its a death funnel pretty much. But any big army attacking the 3rd has the same problem. Caught between a nexus with pylons 2 small ramps with high templars and a super zealot heavy army and no space to split or kite, this army was doomed in this position. But with really good ghost control he could have prevented the storms directly on his army, the army was lost anyway but he could have done enough damage to not die to the conter.


Basically it becomes harder and harder to get an even trade with P having stable 3 base for so long. T had messed up already and missed the window from the earlier transition.

Game always gets really messy in that scenario, since T desperately wants to trade before it's too late, but doesn't really have reliable tools to provoke a siege/engage.

Compare against TvZ, where a tank line can be stretched against primarily melee units, to maintain position while attacking.

I understand yugioh played like shit but Christ I can't stand zvp. He pushed with 2 unit types and its a tossup between who his the better caster spells. Getting really boring to watch so often.
