ByuN? Hardly. Gumi is a nice player but I wouldn't say he's great at TvP, but he is good. Mvp's relies on mind games and killing them before storm imo. I've never seen him deal well in a late game scenario vs templars apart from that specific game on Metropolis against squirtle where he could camp to BC's. MKP's is still the best imo. (of ESF players anyway )
Byun is definitely great at TvP, not quite sure why you would say he isn't. Remember, he got to the ro4 by beating basically only code S level protoss and lost 2-3 to the eventual winner of the entire GSL.

Shoulda coulda woulda. Seed played out game 4 absolutely perfectly and even as the biggest Byun fanboy in the universe i can't give seed anything but praise for how he played out that series.
I challenge you for the title of bigger Byun fanboy. Seed should get credit for not shaking in the face of byun's off kilter style compared to other protosses but that SCV pull physically hurts me whenever I think of it.

Nah but i agree that SCV pull should have worked, but seeds dt's basically hit at the exact wrong time lol. If he had walked them in sooner or later Byun probably would have been able to fend them off without taking too much damage or he would have pushed and destroyed Seed right there and then.

Just because they've used it for ages doesn't make it good.
I think with over 10 years of experience they know what is good and isn't good for their targetted audience. Their program is broadcast on cable TV across Korea. The people waching don't have the time or attention span to watch 12 potential 30 minute games a bo3 format might produce.
BeSt was always pretty bad at dealing with stuff that doesn't go according to his plan. Despite MC's PvP being awful these days, this is probably the most likely match for eSF to take today.
