A little bit of (friendly) competition isn't between the 'two scenes' isn't all that bad. Keeps it exciting. Worst cases are (getting) disposed of anyway.

MC will show'em how it's done.

It's not about the elephant in the room. It's more about MVP and MKP playing sub-par to their actual level.

Where is MMA when you need him?

Hopefully his extra M will keep him going.

You don't want to see MMA playing a TvP. He can't even TvP to save his life, he never could do it. And at this current state of TvP, well...

which terran is actually good at TvP?

Taeja, PirateTerran, MoustacheTerran and LiquidSucksBallsWithoutMe

I thought Taeja = LiquidSucksBallsWithoutMe?

Anyways - BO 1 format is pathetic, there is no way for preparation or clever strategies, mind games - it is just like one ladder match.

P.S. Also BW idiot fanbois are fucking irritating in this thread.

So are people like you who have been here for a total of 5 seconds and think they know better than OGN on how to format their tournament.

Just because they've used it for ages doesn't make it good.

I think with over 10 years of experience they know what is good and isn't good for their targetted audience. Their program is broadcast on cable TV across Korea. The people waching don't have the time or attention span to watch 12 potential 30 minute games a bo3 format might produce.

Bo1 in starcraft 2 is not good. We've seen it in gsl, jsut a matter of time before kepsa will realise it too.

I'd love GSL/OGN to take advantage of this. Imagine Mr Chae and some Kespa representative have a fake fight over this and using it as a hype video.

OGN are still a television company, they're sharing their time with tekken, that Korean CS, LoL etc they can probably only fit in a BO1 during a broadcast.

you can cry yourself to sleep when things are proven once again when we see who advances in round of 16

And what would be a victory for ESF fans? Splitting 50/50 with KeSPA players would just be more evidence proving the elephant right.

To reinforce this, 7 out of 32 players were Kespa players. That's 21.875%
In the top 10, there were 3 Kespa players. That's 30.00%

Kespa players were overrepresented in the top 10 given the amount of Kespa players that entered.

6 kespa players were invited. And unless claimed otherwise, I believe all kespa players that were not invited have tried to go through the open bracket, which only 1 made it through.

(directed at nestled quote previous poster) it was actually pretty much proportional, as you're distorting a little bit by saying top 10. Since 12 qualified, 3/12 were kespa and 7/32 is as close to proportional as you can get.

Only the top 10 get sent to WCS Asia, I believe. The winner gets direct seeding to WCS Global Tournament.

I agree that it's not very significant, but it's just something that's nice to point out.

Moletrap is a great caster. Not overhyping stuff, very relaxed, great insight/experience, good analysis every now and then. Dont understand the dislike ive seen here and there.

Edit: However, most casters are best in a duo where they complement eachother in certain ways.

3 stalkers into twilight. Probably blink for MC. That'll give him a good advantage. It seems like this opening is actually the safest in the PvP's I've seen.

Creator can still play in WCS asia for the money like Scarlett and Vibe did for WCS NA even though they had direct seeds to the global tourney

Really questionable observing on the stream.. MC send probe up ramp, gets to the top, but doesn't check his vision to see if he caught sight of Bests Robotics facility.
