Why do people like Mech in TvZ? I really enjoy watching mech in TvT, especially against other styles but I really don't think it's nearly as dynamic and good to watch as good Bio-based TvZ I do appreciate how difficult it is to do mind! I play mech in all my matchups so getting to actually watch someone better than me going mech is great. It's also incredibly rare as pros don't want to experiment with Mech in TvP and most Korean terrans prefer bio in TvZ. It'd just be nice to see for a change as I've seen full bio/marine tank be played sooo much in this matchup over the years.
But mech is completely uneventful in TvZ. Three things happen in a mech TvZ:
1. Hellion runby either wins game or is denied. 2. Terran will live until his timing or die. 3. Terran will do timing push, wins game or dies.

if he would actualy control his army and lead with the ultras he would have lost like nothing =/.

This looks like my TvZs! Fun fun.

Basically, if you ZvT against Major, just build drop defense and win.

Too bad. I don't understand this mentality. I have tried many times to understand.... if you don't think that way, don't try to understand it... you will only get frustrated, trust me. It's quite easy actually. Some people, including me, get an extra kick from a dramatic storyline along with the play. TSL, by design, pits foreigners against Koreans. It's how the qualification system is built, and it's part of the hype. It's what makes TSL unique among many other tournaments. We want to see the scrappy, underdog foreigner show a peak of brilliance in a prestigious tournament. It's the age old underdog story. If all you want is to see good play, of course you'll be fine with Koreans dominating. It's the way of things. And that's just fine, but try to understand the other perspective. There are so many tournaments, you get a bid jaded and want something extra. There are also so many foreigners with great personalities that you get hooked by if you're involved in the foreigner scene, which this community is in large part focused on. A fully Korean TSL will have a ton of great games, but it will just be another tournament. That's nothing to scoff at, but it could be more. I do not think that there is anything wrong with feeling or thinking like that. But seeing LR threads get clogged up with angry rants about 'this tournament is dead to me', 'fuck this tournament' and 'all Koreans are the same, no personality' whenever it happens is just so tiresome. There is no reason to post stuff that is just sour and only be a rant. This is the Internet, people feel bizarrely entitled and overreact to everything I'm not defending that kind of crap, I'm just explaining the other perspective to those who don't seem to understand it. I think it's valid. Being a whiny bitch is never valid.

That's easy to understand. You don't watch a tournament ONLY for the games that are in it. You watch a tournament because of the story it tells you, because you like to see rivalties and so on.
I know the best player advances, but it's way more easy to cheer for a player that you know, a player who stream, a player who try and fail, that for a player which has way less personality. I watch a lot, and i really mean it, A LOT of koreans events. I watch every single GSL match, i have today's matches from WCS to watch and that's it. But i watched tsl because it's fun to see foreigner perform.
I don't see the point now, since there is no upset, the production is really bad, and except for tonights, the caster are doing a pretty bad job so far. That's why i won't watch TSL. Maybe the final, i don't know yet.
