I really enjoy watching mech in TvT, especially against other styles but I really don't think it's nearly as dynamic and good to watch as good Bio-based TvZ I do appreciate how difficult it is to do mind! It's just nice to see different styles used every now and then =) You do get some very nice mech v Z games too, Bomber vs Sniper on Cloud Kingdom comes to mind etc.

Pointless discussion anyway since he's the best foreigner why wouldn't he be able to qualify ? Stephano is just way too overhyped. Very sad, he is not a bad guy but his fanboys are just annoying....

I play mech in all my matchups so getting to actually watch someone better than me going mech is great. It's also incredibly rare as pros don't want to experiment with Mech in TvP and most Korean terrans prefer bio in TvZ. It'd just be nice to see for a change as I've seen full bio/marine tank be played sooo much in this matchup over the years.

TSL, by design, pits foreigners against Koreans. It's how the qualification system is built, and it's part of the hype. It's what makes TSL unique among many other tournaments. We want to see the scrappy, underdog foreigner show a peak of brilliance in a prestigious tournament. It's the age old underdog story. If all you want is to see good play, of course you'll be fine with Koreans dominating. It's the way of things. And that's just fine, but try to understand the other perspective. There are so many tournaments, you get a bid jaded and want something extra. There are also so many foreigners with great personalities that you get hooked by if you're involved in the foreigner scene, which this community is in large part focused on. A fully Korean TSL will have a ton of great games, but it will just be another tournament. That's nothing to scoff at, but it could be more. I do not think that there is anything wrong with feeling or thinking like that. But seeing LR threads get clogged up with angry rants about 'this tournament is dead to me', 'fuck this tournament' and 'all Koreans are the same, no personality' whenever it happens is just so tiresome. There is no reason to post stuff that is just sour and only be a rant.
