They are maybe updating it. Oh well, crazy if Leenock has to play again tomorrow, even if it is on the same terms as roro. 1 Day preparation for both is fair but unusual

Not doing so is greedy and MC got punished for it. but he DID know what he was doing, he scouted 3 base no gas.... Leenock went for something extremely unconventional. Unconventional but possible. I still think it's greedy to ever skip a zealot vs 3 hatch, dunno. I personally like to be prepared against anything that's possible. People have been canceling hatches on me a few times. So terran should never 14cc against zerg? Zerg should never hatchfirst without scouting the whole map for proxy 2rax(alot dont - even in tournaments) etc etc. There's so many risky openers pro players do simply because the response to kill them is extremely unlikely to blindly occur...

It's a one shot cheese that will never work again. well this build is out there for a couple of weeks already, so that everyone should be aware of it. Stangely it still works. We will probably see it every now and then from zergs in the future against people that don't scout properly. Pretty sure MC could've seen more than 6 lings if he just moved out with a probe. That's enough to prompt a full wall-off, or at least it should be. Leenock had his inital 4-6 lings parked outside MC's nat. If he spots a scout move out he can easily move his huge ling mass out of the scouting path

I'd rather he make that Zealot rather than dumping 100 minerals into a Pylon which he'd later destroy anyway.

That looks ugly from a viewer point of view, but that was beautiful play by Leenock.

Trying to stem a tide by MAYBE getting a pylon wall down if those lings aren't even in the space where building a Pylon would wall it off (that's a big WHAT IF) is too big a gamble.

Do you not understand the amount of lings in the SPACE where the Pylon would wall off would prevent that? You're basing this Pylon walloff on the scenario where Lings aren't even in the space where you could wall it off. But they were there instantaneously when they rolled right in and took down the cannon. You're playing a big WHAT IF here. I'm playing the build a Zealot and play it standard and safe.

MC knew that he was cutting a corner, but that corner might be the extra 5 seconds that his 8gate hits earlier just before 20 lings pop or something :D calculated risk that didn't work this time

These type of strategy will almost never ever work in high level play Slow-Ling all-in.lollll MC got bopped. I guess Leenock is one of the few who can make shit like this work (Reminiscent of 6 pool against Alive when Alive 1 rax FE) MC got too greedy and did not scout properly. Pretty embarassing to lose to such thing actually.
